Fantastic boat trip. We went on the slow cruise as it was dog friendly. Very enthusiastic tour guide told us lots of engaging facts about Skomer island and puffins. We saw plenty of puffins, razorbills, seals, gannets, etc.
Toilets available by the dock but they absolutely stank!

What a great day! Parking was easy to find, make sure you take change for the parking - we found this the easier option due to the poor signal. Gary did a brilliant job selling us some binoculars, very friendly and helpful - catered to our needs perfectly for our first pair of binoculars. The sailing team were great, it was a pretty smooth sail over. The gentleman who greeted us on Skomer who had red/pink hair was amazing (sorry I didn't get his name, but he deserves some praise!) The island itself was beautiful. We saw some amazing wildlife including puffins (of course), porpoise, seals, gulls and fulmar plus a lot more! There's some history on the island too which was great to learn about. Overall a perfect day. Thank you to everyone who made it worthwhile.

Do you like birdwatching, do you want to see puffins? Then come here for a boat trip to or around the skomer island. Lots of different birds to see. You can also find seals and with some luck dolphins. After the trip you can get yourself a hot drink and souvenirs with puffins in the visitor centre.
Note: access to the boat can be tricky for anyone with mobility issues as you need to walk up some steps and uneven rocky ground.

Amazing boat tour!!! We did the sunset tour as a group and it was gorgeous! Very pleased to find out they allowed animals on the boat, even if the cat was asleep for most of the journey.

The start of the Skomar island visit. Friendly staff. Shop has a great selection of gifts relating to the puffins. Also sells hot and cold drinks. Located right next to the National Trust car park.

As well as checking in for Skomer ferries, they have snacks, hot drinks, and souvenirs. Very pleasant staff, car park £7 all day or free to national trust members.

The two Ladies at Lockley Lodge were really nice and helpful! I arrived by bus with the Puffin Shuttle from St. David’s and had my luggage with me because I had to move on to Cardiff later that day. I asked if I could store my bag and it was absolutely no problem. They took my bag and handed it back when I returned so I could enjoy my Skomer trip! Thank you! (Also the Skomer trip was amazing and the „Puffin-Merchandise“ was super cute and at a reasonable price).

Lovely beauty spot. The warden was very helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the boats were cancelled because it was to windy and unsafe. Still lots of places to walk around and see though
