Returned back home on Sunday from a quick break to the Loch Awe hotel.
Well I can't praise this trip anything less than 5stars. The coach was comfortable and the driver ( Steve ) nothing but fantastic. However he could do with a more up to date joke book.
The hotel was brilliant, very warm and comfortable. The staff were ever so helpful and courteous with all the guests.
The food in the hotel was excellent, with very good choices available. The evening entertainment and bar prices were extremely good value.
Each day of my break, we went out on excursions on coach with our driver (Steve ).
This was my very first Lochs and Glens break and I enjoyed so very much and can recommend that you try sometimes.
I have just booked another break with Lochs and Glens, for February 2026. However I think I will get another couple of break with Lochs and Glens in between.

Loved the whole holiday on Loch Linney at the Highland Hotel.
The food was very good,plenty of it and good selection.
Rooms comfortable and clean,with lovely helpful staff.
The coach was comfortable and Allan the driver great patience and very informative.
Disapp6that we didn't have enough time in the places we stopped much as Oban,Inverness etc.
He was enthusiastic about showing us so much of yhe Highlands that we were probably on the bus too long with too many lanes and not too much scenery apart from chopped down trees.
But overall will go with them again.

This was our 9th Lochs and Glens Scottish Holiday. Everything was great except the new stand-in coach! The Volvo coaches are far superior. But we had a great holiday, thank you. The pictures attached are of the Tummel Aqueduct, taken last week.

Visited the Loch acray hotel for 6 days in March 2025. 1st time on a coach trip for us. Early start as you'd expect from a road trip to Scotland pick up was easy driver Luis was lovely. 12 hours later arrived at our hotel, cases taken to your room which was clean and comfortable hairdryer available towels,(if you like a big towel take your own) everything scheduled for you dinner and breakfast times, excursion time all sorted and done on time. Food and serving staff was faultless very attentive and yes your plates are small but we asked for extras without any issues. We was the youngest on our trip but that didn't matter. The only issue we had with trips is if the weather isn't great. We would of loved a longer stay at Largs and it was raining so a 3 hr stay was only a hour, the driver did ask us all if a hour was OK unfortunately the oldies won. However after the hour we was taken to a factory outlet which was OK but again we would of loved longer in Largs! So be aware trips are weather dependent and a majority vote! We changed drivers a few days into our trip a guy called Andy. We visited lotpichory for a day trip and returned to the coach to go back, my husband was desperate to use the loo so he headed to the onboard toilet and was aggressively yelled at by the driver not to use them! No explanation why just they was locked and to walk over the road to use the 50p toilets I told him there was no need for the aggressive attitude. I believe everyone after that was afraid to use the onbaord toilets as 1 customer a few days after asked permission to use them then every1 used them unfortunately after the incident it left a very sour taste in our mouths and spoilt it a little. Overall apart from the traveling times and weather and voting excursions I would highly recommend the trip to young and old. Well worth the money for what's included.

Stayed at the Ardgartan hotel for a week . Cannot fault any part of this holiday. From being picked up in the luxury coach we had an excellent time . It was all so well organized and the tours also. The Ardgartan hotel was beautifully situated by Loch Long. All the staff were great and efficient. At night it was silent and the rooms very dark so sleep was easy and undisturbed. Five stars all round.

We've just returned from a Lochs & Glens holiday, staying at Loch Awe, and I honestly cannot fault any part of it.

We were picked up from our local bus station, and spent the day working our way up and over the Pennines, stopping at Gretna Green on our way to our destination, driven by Lizzie, who kept us apprised of sights and information throughout the holiday with her own inimitable sense of humour.

The hotel staff were welcoming and friendly - Jaydene, the manager, made sure everything was as it should be. Because the holiday company owns both the hotels and the coaches, everything is very well co-ordinated, and it showed, with a carefully considered itinerary and some wonderful excursions.

The food was very tasty - including Scottish traditional dishes like haggis, stavies and cranachan, and we felt really well looked after by the waiting team.

It has to be said, we were very lucky with the weather, seeing Glencoe with blue skies as we've never seen it before! We visited Tobermory (taking the ferry from Oban and driving up Mull.. well worth the four hour round trip, though!) and closer to the hotel, the Cruachan hydro-electric power station, which was a remarkable experience, going three quarters of a mile under the mountain to overlook the turbine hall. We also drove along narrow roads (a tribute to the skills of the drivers!) along the edge of the lochs to visit some other towns as well.. every day was different, but these were highlights for me.

For the price - which was about the same as a decent hotel overnight stay (quite aside from the travel costs!) - I can't recommend this highly enough. Granted, we were among the youngest people on the trip, but that's because I don't think people realise that this is an amazing way to enjoy some really great holidays.

Stayed at the Highland hotel rooms were so clean and comfy. Food was fantastic and a great choice. Staff were great and so helpful. Would go back again no problem had a lovely time .

Excellent 5 days at the Highland Hotel, we returned on Sunday 20/3/22 and I cannot praise highly enough.
Our drivers Sandra and Nail were brilliant and the itinerary was great, we really enjoyed the excursions.
The hotel itself was great, very clean and our room 309 was big and the views over the Loch were lovely. Our meals were very good, plenty of choice I just cannot fault anything about our stay.
This was our first time with Lochs and Glens, we have gone with other companies in the past. I will only ever travel with these again, they are far superior in every aspect. Looking forward to our next break with this company.
