Such an incredible experience! The coos and lambs were adorable but Ian, his wife and grandson made the experience extra special. It was very therapeutic getting to groom the animals and take in the stunning views of Loch Ness and the castle. Hands down a must do when coming to Scotland. Special thanks to Ian and his family for sharing their home and sweet animals with us for a couple of hours 🥰 xx

Fantastic experience!

Small family owned farm with stunning views of the lake. Very handsome highland coos, baby highland cows and baby lambs looked very happy and taken care of. We had plenty of time to interact and feed them. Very friendly and informative guide (part of the family) and gentle animals.
Highly recommend!!!

This was an amazing experience!!! Absolutely worth the money to support local farm. We spent 45 mins cuddling those beautiful coos, it was amazing! Also the view from the farm is stunning. I would literally go back everyday. Donna was very professional in telling us the stories about the coos. I also loved that they do small groups tour. Trust me dont miss this if you wanna cuddle some coos

We booked the Highland Cow Experience through the Loch Ness Hub & Travel, and we were not disappointed!
Run by a local family, the cows were gorgeous and more than happy to be fed & brushed. The veiws were breathtaking, and we even got to feed lambs as a bonus.
Andy was friendly and knowledgeable, it was a lovely experience all round.
You even get a lift to and from the visitors parking, so was very easy to park & plan. Highly reccomend!

Soul nourishing.
We had the best time today on the Highland Coo tour, the animals were beautiful, the host was great and the views were amazing.
We were super lucky to be able to feed the lovely sheep, feed the adult highland cows and even have a cuddle with the adorable calves.
We would 100% recommend and will definitely be paying another visit next time we visit Loch Ness.

Had the most beautiful time on our ‘Coo’ tour. The view on this family Croft is incredible, has to be the number 1 place to view Loch Ness. Being able to feed these beautiful cows has been the highlight of our trip. It was nice to see the 8th generation of the family on this land to help lead our experience, Iain and his son Alfie were friendly, informative. You can tell these animals are well loved and well looked after, it made for such a lovely morning. 10/10 would do again and would recommend as the best activity in Inverness!

The Highland Cow experience was the highlight of our trip to Scotland. The view from the farm of Loch Ness and Urquhart Castle is simply stunning. It was a fun and educational trip learning about the cows, sheep and farming in the area. We got to feed the cows and gave milk to a couple of lambs! The farm has been in Farmer Iain's family for generations and he would like to be able to continue working it despite the challenges he face. Support from tourists will enable him to do so. Booking through the Loch Ness Travel Hub's website was easy. Highly recommended!
