What a phenomenal experience with Loch Lomond Travel on the 5 day tour of Lewis and Harris…. what can we say from start to finish… what a fab hotel at Cabarfeidh with lovely food, friendly staff going above and beyond their duties….. Excursions of Harris and Lewis along with guide Chris Ryan with his incredible knowledge …. Last but not least a special shout out to our coach driver Mark, making the trip as enjoyable as it can…. Highly recommend to give this trip a visit, now I am looking forward in booking our next trip…. Sad it has come to an end 😊⭐️

Weekend trip in search of the northern lights. Louise our driver was brilliant she looked after everyone and made sure everyone was happy, great crowd on the coach with great banter. We didn't see the northern lights as weather was against us but it didn't take anything away from the trip just means we will need to do it again 😄 stopped at st andrews on way home on Sunday to finish the weekend. Overall fantastic. louise you are one in a million. Thank you xx maryanne nelson

Just arrived back from Amsterdam trip with girlie pals, all had a wonderful time and had great banter with some of the other passengers. Andy our driver kept us well informed and created a great informal experience. Will definitely be using again and already looking to do the Christmas Mystery tour. Just back from a weekend break to Alton Towers. 3 adults 5 kids.
We all had the best time ever. No hassle booking, bus was great, Gerry our driver was really friendly, hotel was great so would definitely book with then again.
4 1/2 hours in the park Saturday and same Sunday was more than enough time to do all the big rides

We had a fanatic weekend at Chillingham Castle 👻

Our coach Daniel was lovely & we’d all visit again in a heartbeat.

This was described as a ghost tour and we definitely got that. Having a longer stop & visiting the beach on the way back in the sun was the cherry on top.

My only criticism is the distance from the hotel to castle. We ended up being on the coach for a total of roughly six hours and only having two hours in the castle. We got back around 11pm so not time to do anything else really. A hotel within 30/45mins would have been much better.

No complaints about the hotel itself though. Clean, lovely dinner & breakfast. Staff were friendly and quickly had everyone organised.

Thanks again we will definitely look at one of the other trips!

I went on a 5 day Skye and North Coast 500 coach break with Loch Lomond Travel from 16/04/2025-20/04/2025 and it was all just a right rip off from start to finish, at departure time from Hamilton a complete different coach arrived, it's wasn't a Loch Lomond Travel coach as promised which it was a standard McGill's coach with no proper leg room and coach aisle far too tight for plus size folk like myself that my hips and upper legs ended up covered with bruises. At least the seat belts were long enough to fit me properly and the seats themselves were very comfortable perfect for long journeys. Elder wasn't the best coach driver, he wasn't very clear about directions especially what time was our evening meals and what times will need to return to the coach during the excursions because I couldn't understand half of what he said to us and sometimes Elder had never even informed us at all about anything ending up leaving me to my device trying to figure out what he had said and trying to figure out what I was supposed to be doing that it caused me like a lot of anxiety due to my autism. Even, Elder the driver had made rude remarks at my gran aka a whole time carer for me on our first day travelling to Gairloch, any time my gran had asked the driver about anything she had gotten rude responses by the driver as he was really selfish and rude. Our North Coast 500 Excursion was so disorganized that there was no lunch arrangement or packed lunches were provided by Loch Lomond Travel. Elder stopped at a small cafe in Kyle Of Tongue which unfortunately wasn't suitable for coach party loads which the place was far too small to fit all of us in and not enough food for all of us which I've ended up having gone hungry for 12 hours until dinner back at the hotel that due to having poor bloods and my immune system run down, anxiety and feeling uncertainty after the visit to Smoo Cave I've took a panic attack on the middle of nowhere couldn't breathe and feeling extremely nauseous but luckily enough a few lovely people from my bus help me reboard the coach. When Dinner came around the hotel had dramatically changed our coach party evening meal time to 8 pm which both the hotel and the driver have changed our evening meal times to all different times for the whole duration of my coach holiday without informing us At 8 pm, on the Friday night after we came back from our excursion our coach party went into the restaurant and at our tables as usual, that was fine until the music started blasting out and the whole dining room began to be so crowded and noisy that it was too much for me to handle, the evening meal on Friday Night really not eatable despite it was only the odd end scraps and leftovers I've only had that I couldn't eat it that I could barely survived during Starter time due to too many people and too many things going on around me to the point I've left dinner early, walked out and hid in the ladies disabled toilet downstairs which unfortunately I took another panic attack in the toilet but this time it was worse than the first that I was crying in massive pain at that point I wanted to go back home after I've suffered two panic attacks in one day that it ended up knocking me sick for the rest of Friday night through the whole Saturday until Sunday when I left Gairloch returning home. Let me tell you it was the most dreadful experience I've ever come across of my years doing these coach breaks with my carer. The evening meals and breakfast at The Gairloch Hotel was cheap, frozen and low quality. The budget for coach party meals needs to improve left me with an upset stomach and I went hungry on the last two evening meals we had. Despite all of the issues the accommodation was very comfortable and clean even though it was basic but even we've got a stunning sea view room which was a bonus. I've enjoyed my coach holiday this week despite all of the miscommunication and mess ups with things. Sadly this coach holiday will be my last and never use this coach company again 😓

Amsterdam trip was a brilliant 2 night holiday, everything about it was great from our driver Daniel and the whole experience. Only downside was I booked a cabin for out friends with mobility issues near a lift only to find out their deck had no lift 😡 this ship does not seem to cater for people with mobility issues

York and Christmas Market Tour 22/11/24
This was our first time with Loch Lomond Travel and we had a super time. Thank you so much Louise for looking after us so well, giving us so much information and coping with all the weather conditions. Good to have a quick stop at Gretna in both directions to do some shopping. The hotel was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived, the staff were all lovely and all the meals were delicious. Excellent value for money and great to be in York at this time of year, such a lovely city. Thanks to everyone who made the weekend special. 😊💖
