We had the best time with Lizzie on the Orkney pre-history tour. For our first visit to Orkney, I couldn't think of a better guide. We covered a good portion of the mainland and Lizzie was full of recommendations, anecdotes and interesting facts. The tour was well-paced and we enjoyed seeing the island while someone else was behind the steering wheel. It feels like driving around with a good friend who loves where they live and is excited to share their favorite parts with you. If you're visiting Orkney, you must book a tour with Lizzie!

We had a brilliant time on Orkney with Lizzie and James. Over 2 days, these Orcadians shared the love of their home in every way possible - we got to see many of the Neolithic sites, Kirkwall Cathedral, Scapa Flow and much more! Lizzie and James have boundless energy and in-depth knowledge of every aspect of Orkney including Lizzie's expertise in identifying birds which I really loved! I couldn't imagine seeing Orkney with anyone else! Thank you!

Lizzie drove my wife and I to the Windwick Bay area to see the grey seal pupping activity along the rock covered coastline, which was an absolute delight on a partially clear beautiful November day, including the Italian Chapel. Next day we toured the famous ancient sites of Skara Brae, Ring of Brognar, Unstan Chambered Cairn among others on a day that was probably equally typical and beautiful in a cold, wet driving rain. The sights, experiences and Lizzie's guiding professionalism made for two unforgettable days. Thank you so much Lizzie. Highly Recommend !

My parents and I had a great time with Lizzie while we were in Orkney. I was a bit nervous about a “personal tour” but Lizzie (and her co-tour guide one day, Jean) were both so personable, knowledgeable and lovely. The pacing was a bit intense for my parents but Lizzie did a wonderful job of accommodating our group’s physical needs. We really appreciated having a few options for different members of our group and adjusting to changing plans. Would highly recommend!
