Liverpool City Sights Tour Bus - Liverpool

It was a great sightseeing bus experience! The price is good as I paid around £12 for adult and some other disc available for students, seniors or else. With this ticket, you can also get disc for some tourist attraction such as the Beatles museum. Crowd was okay in the weekday but anticipate more in the weekend. The guide was super helpful and cheerful! Bus stops were close to the attractions so very helpful for tourists to stroll around the city! Overall had a pleasant experience with this tour!

Book it! You won’t regret it!
We had never taken a bus tour in our lives and were a little nervous that it was going to be boring or cringey but this was so fun and hilarious. Chris, our tour guide was so funny. He is local and just incredibly knowledgeable about Liverpool history and the Beatles. He gave us really interesting information about the city and it provided really great context for early Beatles songs like In My Life, Penny Lane and Strawberry Field. He knew a lot of niche history and locations and told us all about where the fab 4 grew up. There were two stops at the signed Penny Lane sign and Strawberry Field and Chris was really kindly taking photos for anyone who wanted one, cracking jokes all the while but I was impressed with his photography skills honestly. He made sure everyone got some good photos.
He’s also an amazing singer and guitar player, doing a couple of obscure Beatles songs at the end, which was really just the cherry on top of a great morning out.
Couple of tips:
- Come at the beginning of your trip as Chris points out some good places to visit along the way
- Arrive early to try to get a spot on the top deck as your guide will conduct the tour from here.
- Prepare for wind, rain and sun! Bring suncream and a hooded waterproof coat!
- Make sure you pee before you get there as the tour is 90 minutes with no toilet breaks.

Best bus tour I’ve ever been on. As even a casual Beatles fan I really enjoyed this tour as it gave insight and context to the history of the city and the ongoing impact the group has had on the residents of Liverpool. Whilst also giving you some insights into the history of this beautiful port city. In addition to this, both the driver, Ann and the guide, Chris were both highly entertaining and comical. But not in an overbearing way. We were made to feel really welcome. Would recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool, a must-do!

They do two tours:-

The city tour which was good for getting your barring and was very informative.

The Beatles tour which was fun, entertaining and very informative.
“Mind the low branches” if you are upstairs and on the open part. Ann the driver did her very best to minimise the problem and she worked really well with Chris the on bus guide. He was so informative and it really did show the 18 year’s experience (both) the songs on the iPad and the ukulele played on the return trip just added to this tour. Best trip ever.
They worked really hard to bring the entire bus along for a fantastic journey.
I would love to thank them for making my first trip to Liverpool so enjoyable. I will definitely be going back.

Kim the guide and Colin the driver were fabulous on the city tour of Liverpool that I did with four friends recently. Very informative and helpful, and great value. Learned lots about the city, and saw some amazingly beautiful buildings etc. Thank you.

Absolutely fabulous tour of the city sights, Jimmy was knowledgeable and entertaining throughout, so much so we did a second loop with him and Colin was an amazing driver. Highly recommend the trip, would definitely go on it again next time I visit Liverpool 😎

Excellent sight seeing tour with an open top bus, we went on the City tour as there is 3 tours to choose from. Amazing way to see Liverpool and to get to know your way around. Being a Hop on Hop off service you can get off anywhere along the tour and hop back in between the hours of 11am to 3/4pm depending on the day. Great opportunity to get photos of the landmarks such as the bombed out church and chinatowns arch. English commentary on board, friendly and humorous staff.
