Absolutely beautiful campsite, very clean. The amenities were brilliant, the showers were great and very clean. The campsite shop was lovely. We didn't use the pool so I can't comment on that. We loved that different food vans came daily and that there was a little coffee van. The staff were great, although I did feel a little rushed on arrival and I (female) went to reverse the caravan into the spot and the warden said "I'm staying to watch this". I found the comment a little sexist. Also as we are caravan newbies he was "helping me out" with the reversing and I felt a little rushed without explanation of why I needed to do what.
Also, the pitches had to fit caravan, awning a car into them so there were cars parked everywhere I found this made the site look like a bit of a car park.
We did have a lovely stay though. The location is perfect for exploring Oxford, enjoying country walks and being in nature.

We’ve just had 6 nights on this site and it was absolutely lovely. The pitches are large and really well maintained. The facilities are really good and super clean.
We had a small problem and the staff went completely above and beyond what anyone could have expected - amazing.
Play area was great.
The location is fab…lovely dog walk from the site to pubs on the river which were really nice. The pub down the road was great as were the food vans visiting over Easter. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommended. Couldn’t fault it!

This site is absolutely fantastic. The staff are really welcoming, friendly and helpful, can’t do enough for you. The shower block and grounds are immaculate. The private hire pool sessions are fabulous and our grandson loves it. This is the best site we’ve ever stayed on, cannot recommend it enough and we’ve booked another holiday

First class campsite. Spotlessly clean, Tanya and Alison were so friendly and welcoming nothing was to much trouble. Huge pitches, extremely well kept, only stayed for 3 nights wanted longer but had to get back home. Can't wait to go again, so very peaceful, all you can hear is birdsong. Thank you for a relaxing memorable stay. Definitely we'll be back.

A lovely site, seemed very peaceful even though they were fully booked for the first May bank holiday. Toilets and showers spotless, water nice and warm plus the block was heated well. Nice play park for little ones, option to go swimming in there indoor pool but do have to pay extra. Good choice of visiting food vans in the evening and a coffee and milkshake truck in the mornings over the weekend. Good spacing between pitches, various water points around the site. Access to site ok, would say some pitches are a little tight for larger units but they seem to plan the pitches to your unit well. We most definitely will be coming back again, we didn’t want to go home! One of the best sites we have visited since we have had our caravan over the last two years 😊

Great campsite in a lovely village. Black Horse pub is a few minutes walk away, serving great food and ales. For a longer walk try the Windrush trail to Newbridge where there are 2 pubs and you can link up with the Thames Path. Food vans on site Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings were all very good and the site shop stocks camping essentials and some local produce. Didn't use the swimming pool this time but on previous occasions it's always been a nice temperature. Toilets and showers were always clean and the pitches have plenty of space. Also worth walking/ driving/cycling to is the Red Lion at Northmoor - really nice country pub with local lamb on the menu and a nice beer garden.
