Pathetic customer service. I was unable to attend the gym due to some family emergency rushed out of the country for a few weeks. On my return I found my locker was broken and took my stuff away by the member of the staff. I have inquired about it and the responsible in charge didn't able to response on a correct manner and not bother to look my missing stuff either , replied it's been thrown away. Next day reported to the another member of the staff and she managed to find the missing item. The staff should be trained better.

It's great for children's swimming lessons. You can view their progress online and the teachers are lovely. The reception staff are so helpful on the phone too.

The life Leisure Centres are mostly struggling to keep it clean 🧼 but this one in Hazel Grove has some good stuff behind it

New user of the gym. Equipment by far exceeded my expectations. Friendly staff upon arrival nice and clean. Have tried other non life leisure gyms in Stockport and the hazel grove site is by far the best I have used

Good gym but their 3 month membership trial is a scam, they will only accept a 30 day cancellation after the 3 month period and you're still on the hook allegedly for the final month so its actually 5 months you'll end up paying for or 2 more months than you want to.

Bad business practice and false advertising. Beware.

Plenty of onsite parking
Well staffed at the reception desk for any questions
Gym is clean as is the relaxation areas
Room for improvement in the class timetable: spinning and other popular classes book up quick! It's like booking Glastonbury tickets every week: you got to be quick! Not a complete fault on the gyms side as room for class space is limited.

Edit: have upgraded from 4* to 5* given that it's had a really nice refit and staff are great ! Proud (and lucky) to have this gym in close proximity.

Just joined, incredibly welcoming.. to me and my dog!! What an absolute gem. So far tried yoga with Andy and Tai Chi with Rob.. the staff and other people in class are lovely! Really good instruction and fun. Thank you so much. Can't wait to try the pilates next x

The facilities here are excellent and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The pool is a decent size, and lifeguards are always at hand in case of emergencies. The only complaint I have is that sometimes the pool temperature can be a little on the cool side. There is also a suana and steam room for something a little more relaxing. Upstairs, there is a well equipped gym, weights room, and additional exercise hall. However, the gym gets especially busy between 4-7 pm on most weekdays. In case of cardiac emergencies, there is a defibrillator in the main reception.
