We spent two nights here and i cannot overstate how perfect every second was. Nicola and John have 5-star hospitality and they go out of their way to make sure their guests are taken care of and are satisfied. John has outstanding culinary skills - every bite of every meal is beyond delicious; better than any restaurant we've been to so far! The grounds are beautiful and perfect for a stroll after dinner. The tour of the castle is informative and really interesting. Truly, this was a memorable, unique experience and we cannot wait to come back!

I had the most wonderful stay. The Leslie Castle Guesthouse is absolutely beautiful. The food was fabulous. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Can't wait to come back.

Outstanding! The highlight of our 7 weeks . We felt like we had stepped back in time, we went round & round up those castle steps ( take an overnight bag, much easier) to our room which was flanked by 2 turrets. Our hosts were great, gave us a history talk and tour and the meals fantastic.

I couldn't have had a better experience I look forward to a longer stay next time. I appreciate everything ❤️ and had an experience I will never forget. Making new friends, and looking forward to sharing these experiences with my family in the future. The garden was beautiful the hospitality was superb the food even 😋 better. The history and stories are fascinating as I do love history and have personal ties to the area and surrounding families. As my cousin has relatives of the Leslie family we enjoyed everything. Can't wait to return hopefully some.

Our family had an amazing stay here. We rented 4 rooms in the castle and it was a truly unique experience. The rooms were large and the scenery outside was so peaceful. Birds chirping. Cows mooing. Just lovely. We had dinner there - it was just the 8 of us in the Dining room. Dinner was traditional and good. Breakfast was our favorite. Absolutely recommend

Small castle in a lovely quiet location with great views. Rooms were large, clean with comfy beds. Tea & coffee facilities in the room & we ask for extra teabags & milk. |Evening meal & breakfast were both excellent.|John & Nicola were very nice and we got to learn about the history of the castle.|Very enjoyable stay. Would definitely recommend.

If you ever want to stay overnight in a real Scottish Castle this is the place. The rooms are amazing and the castle has been restored as much as possible into its original state. The food serviced is superb and the atmosphere is wonderful including some very nice Scottish music in the background. I can highly recommend this place as it’s really superb

Absolutely perfect and lovely experience. The host, John and Nicola, are amazing and went out of their way to make this a special stay at the Leslie Castle for our family, including an delicious and hearty breakfast each morning and we opted for a dinner in the main dining hall with Nicola hosting historical story telling and John's amazing cooking. The rooms were very clean and beds super comfortable. The grounds and landscaping were lovely. We enjoyed a day of hiking right from the castle, but also had day trips to excursions all within 30-40 minutes, including the beautiful Balmedie Beach, Johnston Gardens, Ancient Recumbent Stone Circle and much more. Highly recommend this experience.
