recently stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Hinckley Island, with my family and I was truly impressed with the overall experience. From the moment I arrived, the environment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere throughout the hotel. Every facility I visited, from the reception area to the dining spaces and leisure amenities, reflected a high standard of hygiene and care, which I greatly appreciate.

The accommodation was perfect—spacious, well-furnished, and spotless, ensuring a relaxing stay. The full-service breakfast and dinner provided an excellent variety of delicious options, all freshly prepared and beautifully presented. The dining experience was complemented by the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, who made sure everything was just right.

I also had the opportunity to enjoy the spa and leisure services, which were equally outstanding. The facilities were modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed to promote relaxation and comfort. This attention to detail truly made the experience special.

Overall, Leonardo Hotel Hinckley Island exceeded my expectations in every way. The commitment to cleanliness, quality service, and guest satisfaction is evident in every aspect of the hotel. This was our second time staying at this hotel, and once again we had a really pleasant experience. I stayed for one night with my partner and our two kids. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The only small downside was the lack of air conditioning, but since the weather wasn’t too hot, we managed by keeping the window open overnight. Still, having a fan or some ventilation would have been a nice addition.

One thing that really stood out to me as a parent of a child with special needs was seeing the hotel support staff with special needs. It was truly heartwarming and so appreciated—it speaks volumes about the values of the hotel and its management.

The staff were all lovely, friendly, and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. Breakfast was great. Although at night time there was a wedding happening downstairs, it wasn’t disruptive or noisy at all.

Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely come back again!

We had such a fantastic stay at Leonardo hotels! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome, thanks to the wonderful staff. We had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Alex, who went above and beyond. He took the time to talk with us, ensuring we were well looked after, and his friendly and warm demeanor made us feel incredibly valued. A standout moment was when he generously offered a free breakfast to our two guests who came to visit.

The exceptional service didn't stop there. At breakfast, we were helped by Daniel, who was not only very kind but also incredibly hard-working. In fact, all the staff members were wonderful and friendly. We're so used to impersonal service these days, so it was a genuine treat to be received with such warmth. We'll definitely be returning to Leonardo hotels after this wonderful experience.

The only things I’d say is the shower had no shower gel in the container which was slightly disappointing. I also wanted to purchase a razor which was advertised on the website but the hotel hadn’t kept any. I visited another hotel and they were able to provide me with a toothbrush and toothpaste free of charge. But the interior design is beautiful, customer service is impeccable and I had a great and relaxing weekend there. The bed was also very comfortable and the room clean with a wonderful selection of complimentary teas and biscuits. Spa facilities were great, I just wished the steam room was automatic because it took a regular visitor to show us how to properly use it. But I’d definitely stay again. Also the pastries during breakfast were divine.

Beth truly made my visit unforgettable warm, proactive, and genuinely caring. The swimming pool, sauna, and steam room were superbly maintained and incredibly relaxing. Rooms were comfy and clean. Dining offered nice drinks & a good selection for breakfast, beautifully presented options. Overall, a fantastic experience I’d gladly repeat. Highly recommended! Thank you

Our room was clean and spacious, and we had a good nights sleep. ||The main issue that we experienced, similar to other reviewers, is that there were not enough staff, and the ones who were there were not always friendly. The reception staff were not very welcoming, and at breakfast, nearly every table was dirty and the food was constantly running out. The hotel does not appear to put enough staff on duty to cope with the amount of guests.

We stayed at the Leonardo Hotel Hinckley and were warmly welcomed by Beth at check-in. She was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. When we found our first room was too warm, she immediately arranged an alternative without any hesitation.||That evening, we had dinner in the restaurant and were greeted by Abby Edwards. She was wonderfully attentive, taking the time to accommodate my wife’s dietary needs due to a medical condition, and offering our daughter different meal options since she wasn’t sure what to choose. Thanks to Abby’s care, we all enjoyed a really lovely meal.||On our second day, we were looked after by another kind and helpful team member, Abigail Crumpton, who once again made sure my wife’s menu was adjusted perfectly. Alex was also on hand in the morning, ensuring we were well taken care of.||We also made use of the leisure centre facilities—the pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. Nikki was fantastic and arranged all our sessions for the rest of our stay with such ease and friendliness.||Overall, we had a wonderful experience at the Leonardo Hotel Hinckley. The facilities are spotless, the food is excellent, and the staff truly make the stay special. A big thank you to Beth, Abby, Abigail, and Nikki for their outstanding hospitality—we really appreciated everything you did to make our stay so enjoyable.

We'd never have thought of this as a hotel within reach of Birmingham Airport until our flight got cancelled.
So I can tell you that it is just off junction 1 of the M69, has lots of parking too.
It's around 25' from Birmingham Airport.
The staff are very good, very helpful.
It is a big hotel, I felt, judging by how far rooms were from reception and it clearly does big conferences.
There's a style to the place too - the central staircase area is an eye-catcher, like you'd get on cruise ships.
There's also a Triumph motorbike theme in the bar area which is quite unique too.
The food - until 9:30pm is very good, I found, with a varied menu.
The larger restaurant to the left of reception we used for breakfast which was also good with lots of choice.
So, yes, I do rate it and you might want to try it too.
