Please replace your more ancient buses. There are many nice modern buses but some of the older ones sound like a passenger jet landing right in your ears. Very overstimulating for everyone regardless of age or disability but I imagine it's extra hard on kids, old people with hearing aids etc. Just awful.

Very busy at present lots of Christmas displays in all areas plus funfair in millennium square. Outside train station lots of stalls selling sweets and food.

I have not really toured the city. I had a stop-over for a connecting coach. The large station looked awesome and great. From my position, I could see that the city is amazing as well.
It will interest you to know that in all my journey from Middlesbrough to the Southern part of England, I have always had a stop at Leeds. The city seems to be a beacon of modern transport for travellers and tourists.

Leeds City Bus Station is a deceptively good bus / coach station. It has a large concourse area, loads of sesting and several places to buy food and drink, including the Greggs, which is really good for coffee and pastries. The bus station is pretty clean and my coach was on time. Thunbs up!

Just visited the city.. Looked around a few places. It was very busy.. Noticed some bus cancellations at the bus station. Got a snack at greggs before catching a bus to my next destination.
The bus station can be a little intimidating because of groups of youths that hang around in the early evening they ride their bikes inside the bus station. Don't seem to take any notice of security staff. When asked to stop riding their bikes inside. Not some where I would want to be late in the evening. on y own.

Leeds is a fantastic historical place. People lost their interest. There are loads of things to do lots of fantastic places to shop and see and visit and have some great memorable times.
