Went to Leah's Yard for the Love Puppy Event today. Went to the cafe for a sausage roll (which I didn't take a picture of) and a wonderful sandwich. The staff was lovely. I'm definitely returning to this lovely place in Sheffield again.

Leah's Yard, opposite the Cambridge Street Collective, a collection of quality independent businesses, housed in a former  Victorian steel works refurbished and brought back to life.  An example for other locations of how to restore Victorian buildings and breathe life into an area.

I was reminded of Neal's Yard in Covent Garden.

A tap room, fine food, art gallery, chocolate, hairdresser, bookshop.

I found the people helpful and knowledgeable. I spent so long chatting, I had to abandon my intention of visiting Steam Yard.

A pleasant change to corporate chains destroying our city centres with their sameness and draining money out of local economies.

A tiny micro pub in Sheffield city centre, hidden away in a courtyard that was once part of the thriving industry in the early 20th century. Excellent ales on keg and a fantastic range of canned ales. Well worth a visit.

Nice little shops but honestly a bit of a confusing place. Can't really tell where you are allowed to go, supposed to go, or where to go. Could do with better signage. Great shops though. The plant shop on the outside is fantastic.

Came across this little deli today when looking in the shops in Leah’s yard.
Lots of tasty looking things on offer, but the very full sandwiches on the counter caught our eyes. We were not disappointed.
A most outstanding sandwich made up of well balanced ingredients.
Me and my partner agreed it was one of the best sandwiches we had ever had.
Could not recommend enough.

Little Hidden gem there is plenty to look at, from books to flowers and food. The food shop sells beautiful sourdough and lots of other local made produce. There is plenty of art from around Sheffield to look at. Very nice

Delicious coffee and food, wonderful ambiance, kind staff! A friend had the arancini, which she had not eaten since being in Italy, and loved it! Wonderful courtyard and tables big enough for groups of six.
