I am a honest moroccan tour guide and I would never fool my guests. My suggestions for shopping will alway tend to give them the best quality/price choice (if they ask for shopping). Everybody knows that some shops give commission to anyone who bring them clients and this is universal as when a taxi driver bring clients to Channel or YSL shops in Paris. Describing moroccan guides as "thieves" is unprofessional, especialy when your activity is based on commissions with hotels, restaurants and all activities a tourist may chose. If the person who wrote such garbage had a personal bad experience, it doesn't give him the right to insult the whole world, there are more decent ways to complain.
