Great tour, very poor guide!

Had an unfortunate experience with our our guide Andy. He seemed very knowledgeable which is a shame as my husband and I felt that his racist remarks ruined the tour. I think super tours should really open their eyes to who they allow to represent their company. After all regardless of the colour of our skin or religion we're all equal. Would NOT recommend super tours to anyone and will be spreading the word!

Our tour guide, Andy, is extremely knowledgeable and proud of the Lakes District, even though his jokes are corny.
Absolutely totally recommend Lakes Supertours . It's more affordable and more informative than other tours you might want to take.
We also recommend accommodation at Lakes Lodge, Windermere

We took the Beatrix Potter/William Wordsworth tour on 30 July 2014 and it was an excellent value. It lasted more than eight hours and included tours of Beatrix Potter's Hill Top farm, Wordsworth's Dove Cottage, the Castlerigg Stone Circle, and miles and miles of breathtaking hills and valleys. Our guide, Steve, was probably the best guide we have ever had anywhere--extremely knowledgeable about the Lake District and very agreeable; he provided a wealth of information and ample opportunities to get out of the van and walk.

Attitude of the organizers was deplorable.
I had booked a half day trip from Windermere, and when I reached the place the next day, a woman (perhaps the main person) told me that the trip had been cancelled, and she cannot help it.
After a lengthy argument with her, there was no hint of a providing a solution whatsoever and she was adamant that I come the next day!
Was a huge turnoff as the tour was integral part of my plans.

Please keep away from Lakes-supertours unless you have an extra day to experiment with their service!

Great day out had a lot of fun, explored lakes the way I wanted , driver is a bit too much into history but was quite informative, loved my day and it was all worth it, thanks Andy.

Very nice trip, good value for the money. We booked tour I in the morning same day and everything went smooth. Andy our guide was nice and helpfull. Highly recommended !!!

Really bad driver ...no consideration for pedestrians....nearly knocked my 82 year old parents over...maybe too old to drive a mini bus? Wouldn't recommend driving on lakes narrow roads...watch out if you on foot...

We got a disgusting driver. He literally hates Asian/ Indian peoples and he represented this all the way long indirectly. As he was a senior citizen so we didn't say anything about this.
