This wonderful working dairy farm really is a home from home. It has a fabulous view of the nearby landscape. The Watson family really do give you their warmest welcome, amazing cooked breakfast (with wonderful Scottish touches) and nothing was to much trouble. Our large, bright and airy room was extremely comfortable and had everything and more that you could want- tea and coffee, TV, water, ensuite, hairdryer etc. Nothing was too much trouble for this wonderful family. Before we went home we also had a fantastic tour of the farm and met the new calves that had been born that morning- a wonderful way to finish off a superb stay- thank you to the Watson family!

We arrived not knowing what to expect as we had always stayed in Premier Inns.||On arrival we were greeted in such a friendly manner, we were shown to our beautifully clean and homely room including our en suite. Myself, my husband and our 7 year old daughter had a wonderful quiet nights sleep, really what more could we ask for you ask yourself!!!||Well we went downstairs into the lovely , bright dining room and had the best breakfast all lovingly prepared by Moira out host. Scottish pancakes made fresh that morning and a full breakfast which was gorgeous. All tastes catered for and I must say we will definitely be back again. ||Thankyou we loved our stay xx

An exceptional B&B! We chose this place initially as we live on a farm and our young son is tractor mad! We were attending a wedding close by and it was very easy to find off the side of the road.
We got a very warm welcome and shown to our lovely room. My son quickly spotted a toy tractor in the living room which he was allowed to play with in our room which he adored! The Watson's showed us around their beautiful farm and made us very much at home. We slept very well and everything was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent and they were able to provide something for my young son. If we head back to Ayrshire we would definately stay there again. I can't recommend this place more, it was absolutely perfect.

Just spent 4 nights at the Laigh Tarbeg Farm b and b and had a fantastic time. The owners couldn't do enough for us and made us feel very welcome.||The farm is very well situated for visiting Dumfries House (always check the House is open as Prince Charles was visiting and arrangements change when he's there). Many other places of interest in the area are worth a visit.||Our room looked out over the farmyard at the front. It was quite small with a double and a single bed but plenty of wardrobe/drawer space. Tea/coffee and a kettle in the room plus a hair dryer. There was a good size shower in the en-suite. The TV was hidden in the wardrobe along with the kettle and tray.||As it's a working farm there always seemed to be something going on. We were given a tour of the Robotic milking shed which is very interesting.||Breakfast was very good with a choice of cereals and Moira's summer fruit and yoghurt special - very tasty. Plenty of toast while waiting for your choice of cooked food. Moira also makes delicious pancakes - you certainlly won't go hungry.||Altogether a most enjoyable place to stay, we certainly enjoyed our time at Laigh Tarbeg and would recommend it if you're in the area.

This was one of the best B&B stays I’ve ever stayed in. The room was luxurious with a powerful on suite shower. The couple were so friendly and helpful it was like a family visit. Breakfast was a treat with everything you could wish for. If ever you want to stay in this area then look no further. A real credit to Scottish hospitality at its best.

My wife and I were holidaying in Scotland and had booked this B&B before we left Australia. Always a bit of a worry booking in advance so far ahead. It was great to arrive and find a great B&B.
Even though there were other couples staying there we never heard anyone until breakfast.
Our host, Moira was great and gave us some great recommendations for evening meals. The Stair Inn and the Coylton Arms. Both worth of a visit and meal.
Moira cooks the Best Breakfast ever, cooked fresh.

Stayed here for 1 night after a visit to Ayr races.||We arrived prior to races at 10am. There was a number to call and owner arrived a few minutes later.||We were shown to our room and a cup of tea and slice of cake followed.||Room was very nice. Breakfast was delicious, you could pick a time. The pancakes which followed were the icing on the cake.||The owners were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble.||Would stay therr again.

Fantastic B&B and a great base from which to explore Ayrshire. Moira, Hugh and Marion made us feel so welcome, and our hosts' knowledge of the local area was very extensive. Very comfortable accommodation and superb breakfasts each morning. We hope to return again soon. Highly recommended.
