Had a brilliant boat trip with Kittiwake Charters in Ilfracombe. We saw seals and the old lighthouse. Kittiwake is a family run business with a maximum of only 12 passengers onboard for that more personal experience. The crew were amazing with plenty of knowledge about Devon coast as you go.
Hubby and one of the twins were feeling a little sea sick and were given a ginger sweet witch helped. Crew were kind and caring checking in on passengers regularly.

Had a brilliant boat trip with Kittiwake Charters in Ilfracombe. We saw seals, the old lighthouse and even went out to look for dolphins as our captain gave us some extra time in case we got lucky. Saw some gannets divebombing in the water too which was amazing to watch.

The team were brilliant. Captain gave me a ginger sweet in case I got seasick and checked in with everyone on the boat. He also happily told us the history of the lighthouse and about seal behaviour and where best to look for dolphins.

Super comfy boat. They only take up to 12 people so lots of room with comfy seats and a toilet if needed.

Our family had a brilliant day out on a Kittiwake tour to Lundy Island. Dave and Mike were excellent captain/guides, professional and friendly, safe and fun. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and seals and plenty of birds too. Mike kept the Lundy stories coming, provided a cracking cup of tea after our snorkel and Dave steered us safely to some beautiful mooring spots. During our lunch break, a swimmer on a tour with another boat got into some difficulties and Dave heroically dived in (with spectacular grace) to provide some life saving assistance! All in all, a fantastic day out and some great family memories! ?

Fantastic day trip to Lundy Island to celebrate a family birthday. The Kittiwake crew were friendly and welcoming and very knowledgeable about all the wildlife and history of the area. We swam alongside the grey seals which was amazing. It was a bumpy trip over to the island but the ginger chews helped manage this and the reward was the stunning scenery, seals and seabirds. A fun day out that we all loved.

Went on a lovely mini cruise for Father’s Day today. Would highly recommend booking with Kittiwake - personal, friendly, family run business with great local knowledge.
Thank you to Dave, Jenson, Mike and Will, you do a fantastic job! You would struggle to get a personal experience like this elsewhere in my opinion.

We ended up having a private charter with the three of us, so very lucky! But even at full capacity, there are only 12 passengers so much less crowded than other boats.

Will be back in the summer to get over to Lundy with you! ?

A marvellous experience. We did the 1.5 hour trip that went east, down the coast, to just past Combe Martin. Magnificent coastal scenery, past Hele Bay, Sandy Cove, Broadsands Beach Watermouth Bay and then on to Combe Martin and the Hangman. My grandsons thoroughly enjoyed it and now want to do the longer trips. Excellent, knowledgeable, informative crew. Really good value and not overcrowded.

Had a great Father's Day 45 minute cruise around the coastline from Ilfracombe. Very friendly, informative and fun. Great comfortable boat . Looking forward to a return trip, next time on the longer journey out to Lundy Island. Would definitely recommend ?
