At almost £400 per night we expected absolute luxury. The setting was nice and the chalet was clean, however the hot water was intermittent throughout our stay. Intermittent meaning after a 10 minute shower it went off and stayed off. We contacted the owners who appeared to be able to control it from an app… WTF!!! We’ve never stayed anywhere where we’ve had to ask the proprietors for hot water. You wouldn’t accept that from a budget travel lodge, never mind when you are paying as much as this. Apparently this is due to having a biomass boiler system as opposed to an electric shower. It never seemed to affect the hot tub or central heating though. Eventually, my wife had to rinse the shampoo from her hair using water from the kettle. ||We also don’t expect the owners to conduct daily inspections of the hot tub (which was sited a few metres from the bedroom window). It felt intrusive and unnecessary, given there were no issues with it during our stay. Perhaps his time would’ve been better spent sorting out the hot water in the chalet.||Finally, as others have commented, the rules are extensive and border on OCD, as well as the hidden charges which you only find out about when you arrive at the property.

Absolutely stunning Location our second time staying at this cracking location of peace and quiet and nothing but amazing scenery from seated decking area to Hot Tub Views.. 110% there will be a 3rd visit and the experience can only get better 😊😊

Booking here has been on my hit list for ages and finally got round to going this month. Great location just outside Pitlochry for walks whether it’s hills or just wanders. The lodge was SO clean and so well equipped!! The wood burning stove I just adored and the hot tub was amazing. Dog friendly even providing blanket and towels and treats so bonus points for this. Loved it and will definitely be back!!

2nd time in the same lodge very clean with fantastic mountain views hot tub fantastic even in the rain 🌧 lodge warm and cosy and on this occasion we did use the log fire 🔥 which was lovely very comfy bed 🛌 slept anazingly well, let down by taxis to and from pitlochry about 35 min walk all uphill on the way back and with wet weather was not ideal not the fault of jamie and laura who were amazing 😀 moulin inn 15 min walk which was lovely for drinks and a meal perfect relaxing break well done jamie and laura

We stayed in a 1 bed lodge and had amazing views, the lodge is perfect, comfortable and plush decor. The hot tub was perfect, we didn't use the wood burning stove but in winter months will be a bonus. It's all well kitted out with everything you need. The hosts were lovely and helpful we will be back. Highly recommend, loved it. It's the best we've stayed in. Thank you for a lovely break. Elaine & David xxxx

I’ve stayed in many lodges across Scotland and England and this one was the best by far. We both gasped as we walked in. The lodges are beautiful, very well equipped, scrupulously clean. The hot tubs are great, well located and really easy to use. The owners are kind, helpful and hospitable. I can’t praise Kinnaird highly enough. We will be back

Short staycation for our anniversary. ||Comms pre stay were excellent and on arrival we were made to feel very much at home. ||The small finishing touches were noticed straight away. The accommodation was clean, tidy and has a neutral but modern feel that lives up to a 4 plus star rating.||There is little to fault here!||If you are looking for a relaxing break with views to die for this is the place. ||If you are looking for an adventure, there’s lots to do if you put in the effort.||Would I stay here again. Yes 100 percent! Book it now.

My partner and I went to Kinnaird cosy woodland lodge for a weekend and it was beautiful. Walking into a modern clean lodge with fantastic views of the woodlands. All cooking amenities available, we made our own romantic dinners in and later a movie by the log burning fire. The lodge is in a good location to go exploring near by villages and Pitlochry, then back to the hot tub for a well deserved rest. |Thank you for our lovely stay.
