The kingsbridge information centre It's well worth a visit full of information for the local area the 2 ladies that we see today were very helpful and friendly and even recommended a couple of restaurants and local beaches

I phoned the information centre to see if I could track down the original Kingsbridge Monopoly and even when the call had ended the kind gentleman went out of his way to try and track it down for me end phoned me back after a while providing me with the phone number of the original source of the game seller after failing to get through to the number himself he phoned me to give me the number so I could pursue it, top marks for service and friendliness and commitment to the role ?

In the 2 weeks I stayed in Kingsbridge I could nit have found my way around without the volunteer staff at the Visitors centre. They gave me the bus timetable, info on beaches, I bought postcards and stamps, where to find launderette, where Morrison’s is, the sports centre etc. One day I happened to mention if there was a sewing supply shop as I was looking for union jack sew on patches for my denim work jeans…. Pat ended up ordering them on eBay for me on her phone and said they’d be there on Thursday, I said great! To cut a long story short, She ended up delivering them in person to the address where I was staying!!! Now can you get any better Visitor Information assistance than that!!

There's not much Sam and her excellent team can't help you with when it comes to information about Kingsbridge and South Devon. They stock lots of very useful books/leaflets too along with some lovely locally made gifts to buy. To make the most of your stay in South Devon, I highly recommend dropping in during your visit or pick up a copy of their comprehensive and fabulous Guide.

I lost my car keys the other day. I popped in here to ask if they had been handed in. The staff managed me to stop me crying and told me they would contact me if the keys were handed in later. I ran home and discovered I left the keys in the salad crisper of the fridge..............AGAIN!!?

Not much info about what to do in Kingsbridge. Nice looking site but not very useful for me personally trying to find out what to do on a day trip to Kingsbridge! Two stars for the pretty pictures but as a public info project, poor.
