Good normally but on my last ride I waited 30 minors for a car that was two minutes away. It showed that the car hadn’t even started stared moving, so I cancelled and took different transportation. I got £2.80 back from a £6.80 ride. I don’t think that’s right since I had to wait for a car that didn’t even start moving, and I had somewhere important to be.

Key Cars were efficient on time and pre warning of arrival time with car reg. I used their services there and back and the cars were very clean and the drivers very polite & helpful. The taxi arrived much earlier than expected, catching me off guard. I had planned for it to arrive at a specific time, but it showed up ahead of schedule, which was a pleasant surprise. This gave me a little extra time to gather my things and get ready. It was nice not to feel rushed, and I appreciated the convenience of the early arrival. The driver was friendly and calm, making the experience even more stress-free. Overall, it was a great start to the day.

0 Star – Avoid at all costs!

We used Key Cars Bedford for our journey to Heathrow Airport and left our children’s car seats with them for safekeeping, as they assured us they would be kept secure and conveniently brought to the airport upon our return.

When we arrived back, the car seats were completely forgotten. The driver had to return to their office to collect them, causing unnecessary delays after a long journey.

The real issue, however, became apparent the next morning. The room where we had placed the car seats reeked of cigarette smoke. Upon closer inspection, both car seats were heavily contaminated with the smell of smoke—completely unacceptable for children’s safety equipment.

I immediately contacted their office to speak with a manager. Instead of taking responsibility, the supervisor dismissed my concerns, claiming that the office door is left open and that smoke may have drifted in. The level of smoke exposure was far too strong for this to be a valid excuse. When I questioned why smoking was permitted in a space where customers’ belongings—including children’s items—were stored, I was given the appalling response: “It’s a taxi office, everyone smokes.”

Rather than offering a solution, they told me it was my choice to leave the seats there, essentially refusing any accountability. Their complete disregard for customers’ belongings and child safety is absolutely disgraceful.

I would strongly advise against using Key Cars Bedford. Their lack of professionalism, care, and responsibility is shocking. Avoid them at all costs!

Very disappointed - correct collection address was not noted and passed to the driver who went to a completely different place. The two elderly people were waiting in the heat of the afternoon sun. I will definitely not be recommending your services/cars to anyone.
