Stayed for a week for the first time and hopefully we will be returning.. everything about the place is exceptional..we stayed in caythorpe and I think this is the best one for position as we had the sun most of the day ..on arrival there was milk,cookies and a bottle of prosecco in the fridge for us..now the cookies are another level,they were absolutely beautiful and really wanted some more 😂...the lodge it self was spotless, a couple of little broken bits like door handle on wardrobe,the door in one of the bedrooms and a curtain tie hook however this did not impact on our stay at all..towels were a lovely thought but we did being out own as well .BBQ was great and we had 1 most nights,sitting out on decking in the sun. Beds were comfortable and added bonus of a bath which was much needed to soak in after long walks through the day. We visited many places as we had our 9 year old grandson so wildlife park, aquarium,beach,flamingoland and York were on his list .I highly recommend a stay at Kesters .a big warm thank you to you all

What a fantastic place to stay!

This was our second time at Kesters. It’s so beautiful. Although it is secluded you are very close to many beautiful places to visit and local amenities.

The service is second to none. The lodges are clean, the communication for arrival and departures is excellent and there is lots of information on local places to visit left in the lodge for you to look through.

It’s nice to arrive to the essentials of tea coffee and milk, not forgetting a few naughty treats too.

I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Kesters Country Lodges as an excellent place to stay.

We’ve just left Kesters after another fantastic weeks stay. This was our second visit and we stayed in a larger lodge this time- Battleburn- after previously staying in Cottam. The lodges are immaculate! Beautiful bedding, some lovely welcome gifts (thank you) and a very well equipped kitchen for a self catering stay. You really do feel home from home here. Our two girls 3 and 5 love it. It is very quiet and relaxing and feels very safe. We think Kesters is a fantastic base for loads of day trips and this year we have been to Filey, Scarborough, Sledmere and Hornsea to name a few. Nothing felt further than 50 minutes away so easily doable for fun days out. There are lots of local walks which due to little legs we haven’t experienced yet but are keen to do in the future. Having Driffield so close with a Tesco and Lidl is ideal for when you need some more essentials. The only thing we don’t like is leaving! 10/10 again Kesters! Spent a weekend at Kesters Lodge with my husband, toddler and Labrador.
The lodge was perfect for our family. Everything we needed. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were the most comfortable. The location was great to explore the coast and the surrounding areas. We're already planning a revisit next year ☺️

Amazing, relaxing and too short. My wife, 2 young boys and I stayed for 4 nights in Summer 2024. Everything was clean, quiet and modern. We traveled from Canada and built lasting family memories at Kesters. The owners were very kind, attentive and went above and beyond for us. We highly recommend it.

Have spent almost a week at Kesters Country Lodge, they are located in a very peaceful location on a lovely site consisting of only 6 lodges. The lodges have to be some of the best equipped we have ever stayed in, its clear the owner has spared no expense in putting this site and these lodges together, from the quality furnishings to the huge well equipped private decked area outside each lodge. The lodge itself has a bedroom at each end of the property, both are well appointed with a quality en-suite, the central living area has a kitchen diner and living room that leads out the large decked area, there is parking for two cars outside the lodge. They have thought of everything to make it a real home from home. We have found finding quality accommodation in this part of the country a challenge, and will therefore be booking Kesters each time we want to come back this way, was hesitant about leaving this review, as selfishly I want to keep Kesters a secret just for us. Fantastic place if you want peace, quiet and tranquility in a quality well put together lodge.

A lovely short break. Very peaceful and quiet. The cottage is well equipped (the bubble bath was a lovely, thoughtful touch) and well kept and we enjoyed the remote management of the site, we wanted to be away from everybody and just spend time together for a few days. Remote management allowed you to feel very left alone but they were very responsive to messages and very accomodating. They genuinely seem to care that you enjoy your stay and went out of the way to help us enjoy ours.

Had such a peaceful break here. In a lovely remote location, we saw hardly any people at all (perfect!) but lots nearby if you need shops/pubs/days out etc Amazing walks on the door which we always need with our border collie. Really appreciated the care and thought that has gone into the cabins - prosecco, home made cookies, a dog towel/blanket, bubble bath! The lady who owns them is very responsive if you need to text about anything but liked that we were completely left to it otherwise.
Would really recommend and will be back
