We did the west Cornwall tour and Conrad was the best guide. He had a ton of interesting information on each stop of the day. His van was comfortable. He was a kind and courteous driver. But his enthusiasm and delight in every inch of Cornwall was so contagious. I loved every stop we made. My favorite was lands end. I could have spend hours wandering around and watching the ocean. I learned so much and will remember this tour forever

Conrad is the best guide we could have asked for. The tour started right on time, he has a very nice car as well. We went through soo many different locations in cornwall, that it feels like we visited the entirety of cornwall in a day, and we haven’t missed out on anything. This tour was the best decision of our trip. We covered all the destinations in the west of cornwall, and even went to unexplored locations, which was the cherry on top. Conrad has great depth of knowledge, he told us the history of the places and their significance as well. We learnt a bit of the Cornish language too. 10/10 would do another tour with Conrad, the next time we come to Cornwall. 😀

My husband and I had a wonderful day in Cornwall. Conrad showed us so many interesting sights. It took several days for us to absorb and reflect on that we had seen and experienced. Remarkable! To say that we had an extraordinary experience is an understatement. We had 2 fantastic custom tour days with Kernow Tours, which covered much of west and north Cornwall. Since we were a family of 6 , with ages ranging from 7 to 84 years old, we had requested something along the lines of "History, folclore, castles, pirates, mermaids, fairies, stone circles, beaches and rugged landscapes" and Conrad delivered it above our expectations! Amazing tour - Best ever!
Conrad, our tour guide, was engaging and so full of interesting historical facts, regional stories, and even lessons in the Cornish language. He fit our tight schedule into his to meet our needs on very short notice. In the jam packed personalized tour, we not only saw many sites in southern Cornwall, but he took us to a pub my husband visited 53 years ago. I will sing his praises forever! This was the best way we could have ever experienced Cornwall.

I love everything about this business. From the first bit of contact the communication was absolutely amazing.

We wanted to see a lot and learn a lot and Conrad’s Tour of the West did exactly that. From Geothermal heated Lido pools, to Edward the Confessor history this tour was perfect for our 12 year old (and whole family!) to learn in a fun and engaging way.

The sights of Cornwall are beautiful but with the addition of Conrad’s knowledge it really made it the best day ever!

Travelling in comfort, the whole family which included our pooch we learnt some Cornish and we honestly talked about the day out for our whole holiday.

We cannot wait to return to Cornwall and we will absolutely be rebooking to do one of Conrad’s other tours when we do.

Best guide ever! I had an amazing days in Cornwall and thank you Mr. Conrad for your time and that great experience. We had a lot of good cheer and joy. In addition, we visited a lot of new and interesting things. The best part was we visited Minack theater and Tintagel castle on same day and that was possible only because of Kernow Tours. I went on the Best of the West tour with my mom for her birthday and we can’t recommend it enough! We had a great time exploring the area and learning about its history from Conrad - an incredibly knowledgeable and friendly local guide.

Conrad truly loves his work and it comes through in the standout locations he’s chosen for his tours and the way he educates you in an animated and engaging way. He happily answers any question you throw at him and makes a point to research the questions he doesn’t know the answer to.

In terms of logistics, he picked us up from our hotel and was well-prepared for our 8-hr day trip with water and opportunities for rest stops and to grab a little nibble for the road. As a bonus, he acts as your private photographer and makes sure you have plenty of photos from the day!
