I use this Post Office 3-5 times a week (personal and business).
The staff are ALL lovely - so helpful and pleasant. Always happy to help with any issues you may have.
The shop is well-stocked with the basics and a lovely selection of cards and balloons 🙂

Went today to renew my photocard licence was greeted so politely by both members of the PO and shop. Service was excellent a seamless easy process . Best welcome I've probably ever had. Thank you

The lady behind the till at this post office was shockingly rude and hostile. I completely understand that everyone can have an off day — we’re all human — but the level of unfriendliness I encountered here was something else entirely. It wasn’t just a fleeting moment of impatience; it felt like open disdain for the customers. No greeting, no basic courtesy, just a cold, aggressive attitude from the moment I approached the counter. It made what should have been a simple errand genuinely unpleasant. Honestly, it left me wondering how someone so clearly unhappy to be there could be allowed to represent a business that relies so heavily on customer service.

Very rude and arrogant people in this post office refused to complete the service of passport application for which I had already paid. First they advised me wrongly to mark the answer on the application, then sent an incomplete set of documents. Then, they expected me to pay extra for their negligence and incompetence. Appalling customer service and attitude , zero empathy. Zero stars in fact

I wish I’d have had my parcel delivered to literally any other post office desk in Bedford, because this is the ONLY one only open 9-5.30. Most others open until 10pm or 11pm.

Very unprofessional "family" business under the sign of the post office. Dropped the Amazon return today and didn't receive confirmation as I should. The young lady behind the counter didn't really know what to do and uncle wasn't able to help as was busy with something else. Not sure if all people working there are trained properly. Front parking spaces are always occupied even if there are no customers. Service is extremely slow and causes delays in the process.Avoid if possible.

Do not renew your passport here. They intentionally charge you an extra £12 for what the manager calls a 'professional photograph' even though its just taken on a standard camera, with you sitting on the stool at the back of the post office, just like anywhere else! They're pretty much scamming you as a way of making more profit.

Thankfully after 3 weeks of prolonged back and fourth, I was able to receive a refund of £12 after contacting Post Office directly.

As others have states in their reviews, and rightfully so, the manager is particularly rude and dishonest whilst dealing with customers.

I will not be going to this branch again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
