An excellent experience that I would highly recommend to everyone! Georgia was a fantastic guide and very accommodating to our 11 year old boy. The story teller at the start (sorry I can’t remember her name) set the scene fantastically with her enthusiasm and story telling. 10/10

Visiting Johnnie Walker Princes Street was one of the best highlights of my trip to Scotland. It was an immersive, modern experience that combines tradition with storytelling in such a sleek and engaging way.

The tour was incredibly well-organized and interactive. I loved how they tailored the tasting to my flavor profile using a short quiz at the start. It gave a personalized touch to the whole experience. The visit was both educational and fun.

The views from the rooftop bar are stunning—overlooking Edinburgh Castle and the city skyline—and the cocktails up there were absolutely top-notch. It’s a great place to relax after the tour.

I would say even if you do not prefer drinks, this place is a must visit for the experience.

Amazing experience on the Johnnie Walker Journey of Flavour tour costs £30 which was well worth it, including three cocktails on the tour for my partner's birthday booked in advance which we recommend to do. There are different types of tours. Our tour guide Michael was friendly and informative. After the tour Michael managed to get us two seats at the upstairs bar I would recommend pre booking the bar if you want to go after the tour. The food was amazing and plenty to choose from on the menu. The staff at the bar were friendly and provided suggestions on cocktails. The views from the bar were just amazing. We purchased from the shop we got 10% off as we had been on the tour the staff at the shop were very helpful. We look forward to visiting again. We would definitely recommend the tour and visiting the bar.

Johnnie Walker Princess Street, Edinburgh is a ‘gold plated’ attraction for visitors to the Scottish Capital. Fortunately it is also my home city. The attraction offers all manner of true Scotch Whiskies regardless of your budget constraints. I would recommend the excellent Whisky experience tour within along with a visit to the rooftop bar where one can enjoy an hour or so sampling the many products on offer. Take your camera with you as the rooftop bar provides a unique outdoor view of both Edinburgh Castle and the famous Princess Street as can be seen from the attached collection of photos I took during my visit… 5 stars doesn’t do it justice 🥃

We joined the journey of flavour experience. Paula was the great lady that led us through the entertaining and knowledge-filled experience. She's funny and lively through and through. On the other hand, Michael gave us a disney-like performance on the history of Johnny Walker history. He grasped our heart and mind with his little excellent performance.

We enjoyed 3 glasses of whiskey in different style. Everything was brilliant

This is the best alcoholic experience I have ever done! The visuals were incredible, and our guide was fantastic! Really exceeded my expectations. My partner doesn't like whisky but really enjoyed the cocktails and experience. Would highly recommend you visit here for the cocktail experience tour, even if you don't like whisky!

Had an amazing experience at the 1820 Rooftop Bar. The views over Edinburgh Castle and the city skyline are simply breathtaking — perfect at sunset. The atmosphere was classy but relaxed, with a modern interior and great vibes both inside and on the terrace.

Food was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. We had a mix of small plates and mains — the whisky-glazed salmon and haggis bon bons were standouts. Cocktails were top-notch, especially the whisky-based ones. Staff were friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the drinks and pairings.

It’s definitely not the cheapest place in Edinburgh, but for the quality, service, and setting, it’s 100% worth it. Would absolutely come back!

This tour was great for adults and a fun activity to do during your visit. We took the basic interactive tour, but I think it was a bit too quick. A little more time could have been spent on the mixing and tasting of the drinks, which would have allowed for better interaction with the visitors. I wouldn’t recommend this for someone with small children, and I would also suggest wearing comfortable shoes because there’s some standing involved during the presentations. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to visit if you’re a Johnny Walker fan.
