Our guests had a great time, despite the poor weather.
The crew were fantastic, friendly and couldn't have done more to make Debbies 60th Birthday cruise memorable.

Run by a load of volunteers who are very passionate about the river, the history and the town of Bedford. 2 hour cruise including a cream tea and informative commentary. Definitely a most if you are visiting Bedford. You may need to check if you need to book in advance.

What a wonderful experience. How silly we've lived in Bedford for 20+ years and we've never been on the river! The John Bunyan Afternoon Tea trip to Mercure Hotel was a lovely family outing. Beautiful scenery, fantastic volunteers who were all really knowledgeable of the history of the river and surrounding Bedford. We learnt so many new things about the town. The tea was delicious and the Mercure catered brilliantly for our Coeliac daughter with a gluten free tea. In fact she had more to eat than us...unheard of! We're already thinking about planning another trip in the opposite direction to Great Barford and The Anchor Pub.

Delightful afternoon cruise with very pleasant, efficient and informative staff who 'stepped up in the face of adversity ' In the form of a fallen tree upstream which meant they could not take the entire of the original route! They were well informed in advance calm and efficient. Well done

Attended a lovely relaxing boat trip on the 15th Aug24’, accompanied by an Irish Band, really enjoyable. We had a fish and chip supper which was excellent. Staff lovely.. would definitely recommend
