Dear Jet2—what a curious little stunt tonight at DLM.
Two flights to Stansted: one at 20:05, one exactly two hours later. But instead of two planes… the 20:05 is delayed by two hours, and voila—we’re all merged onto a flight that’s not even Jet2.

No explanation. No announcement. Just a casual vanishing act.
Passengers confused, branding absent, and the original flight number? Ghosted.

Is this clever consolidation, operational creativity—or a classic trick to fill seats and cut costs?

We flew with Jet2 to Dubrovnik, raking up a delay of 3 hours. We were held in Leeds for an hour, and then diverted to Zagreb sitting on the runway for another 2 hours.

While we totally appreciate the extreme weather conditions which caused the diversion though equally planes just before us and after us did land at Dubrovnik despite the heavy thunder and downpours, and while grateful that we did get to our destination, Jet2 did not offer anything while we were waiting.

This flight was meant to depart at 15:30 and arrive early evening, which became close to midnight before we were in town when everything was shut for food & drinks. As a minimal, Jet2 should have offered water to everyone and could probably have done more to keep people comfortable.

BROKEN SCREENS! Worst airline I’ve dealt with. Multiple flight screens were broken in the terminal meaning I missed my boarding and was forced to purchase a brand new ticket for the next day. Team at the desk, namely Ash, were unwilling to assist and provided information that was contradictory. They hire anyone it seems regardless of qualifications. Will be escalating to the CAA travel authority under UK261.

Title: Jet2 Cancelled Our Paid Hotel — Left Us Stranded Abroad and Out of Pocket

Review:

Jet2 Holidays have treated my family disgracefully. My mum, who has stage 4 cancer, couldn’t travel on her prepaid Jet2 holiday. Jet2 refused any refund, so my brother and I flew out (at extra cost) to use the hotel that had already been paid in full.

But when we arrived about 4 days into the holiday Jet2 had cancelled our hotel booking without refunding a penny to my parents. We were locked out of our room, our belongings trapped inside, and told we had to pay the hotel again or leave. We’ve now paid out of our own pocket — even though Jet2 kept the original payment.

They’ve refused to help, offered no refund to my parents, and even blocked me from posting about it on their Facebook page.

Zero compassion. Zero service. Jet2 HQ in Leeds should be ashamed. Avoid booking with this company — they leave customers stranded and take your money without delivering.

Brilliant and professionally are just 2 words I will use. Just been away to ibiza and the trip was great from getting to Leeds Bradford getting on the plane the flight and bus the the hotel. Had a great holiday thanks to everyone involved from ground support to pilots.

We flew from Leeds/Bradford on 22nd June 2024 to Antalya.

The flight team were brilliant (LS291) particularly Matt and the lovely Daisy. They were so enthusiastic and attentive and were in the go the whole time. Great customer experience delivered by them both. Smiling the whole time - genuinely.

The Hotel In Antalya - Barut Hemera - Outstanding.

The return flight on 6th July 2024 (LS292) was just as professional as the outward journey. The two Matt’s were the team here.

All great Ambassadors for Jet2 and I hope their efforts are financially rewarded - we had a great time throughout.

Your staff make your business and I hope this is recognised.

My 18 year old Son and I loved every minute.

Jet2 is the leading producer of fantastic holidays jet2 are amazing. From baggage claim to the flight staff and pilots we’re absolutely professional and so welcoming. Gemma our flight attendant was perfect so nice and attentive. Me and my son had a very nice conversation about aviation. She even made sure our son when landed had the opportunity to sit in the pilots seat and have a quick chat to the pilots. Something he will remember for the rest of his life. Jet2 really does help make life long memories and there customer service is some of the best in the world. We would never book any holiday or flights with anyone else. Thank you jet2 holidays, thank you Gemma, and thanks to our pilots. And of course to everyone else working behind the webpage we don’t see. Thank you jet2

Jet 2 are absolutely fabulous! Thought that my friend couldn't travel due to a passport issue,they looked into it and said no you'll be fine and it was! Great company and great service, happy that we have them on our doorstep at Leeds Bradford!!
