Decent company.
Airline staff were great to be fair, just uncomfortable (physically) as planes these days normally are especially for 4 hours with kids. Used to be better years ago with wider seats, in flight entertainment and reclining seats.
Staff from Jet2 and updates were good so nothing to complain about there. Airports are what they are, luck of the draw on the day but kept under control by staff on Jet2 counters/queues. No long waits.
Holiday in general was a 3star (vitalclass, lanzerote) but I'm only reviewing jet2 specifiacally here.
Price was competitive in comparison to some and the money saved with not booking everything yourself and flying ryan air is definitely worth it.
Carry on luggage is bigger than Ryan Air and very helpful. No1 questioning and measuring it. No baggage or prams were broken on the flights.
Getting any form of shut eye on these flights is impossible, and the more we say nothing the more they squeeze more and more people on making it more uncomfortable. Only reason they lose a star to be fair is comfort of flight and holiday itself was definitely over hyped at 4star (more a 3 star).
First time with Jet2 and found them decent enough to use again in general fro a customer service point of view.

So, started journey at 7.34am from near Newmarket to travel from Newcastle to Antalya. Arrive 1.40pm at Newcastle airport. Flight supposed to be at 3.50pm. Delay after delay after delay. Finally told flight cancelled around 8.10pm. Flight before me to Antalya took off and made it (2 hours delayed from 3.15pm scheduled). Receive email holiday cancelled. No alternative offered. No help offered regards returning to Newmarket absolutely knackered. 3 hour delay food vouchers given out when lots of shops shut. Jet2 staff left in dark to deal with hundreds of upset and crying passengers. Not fair on the staff. This has been a great example of how not to treat people, the paying customers and their own staff.
In departures lounge flight scheduled to take off 7am tomorrow but no communication. When leaving airport, flight cancelled. Marketing disaster. Decision made which is least costly. Jet2 have missed the point.
School holiday treat for my children absolutely destroyed. Unforgivable.
P.S. understand issue around delays, just customer service was terrible. Absolutely no support, no help, no alternatives offered. Shambolic behaviour by Jet2. Dropped their staff on ground right in the proverbial as well as all customers. They got the earlier plane to Antalya......

Flew with jet2 a few times and although I'm happy with the service I can never get seats together on the plane although I plan many months in advance .
Flying to and from my holiday me my girlfriend and daughter were separated all over the plane on every occasion . Its not a family holiday when we are sitting next to strangers especially when other family's have the same problem.
It's just another way to make more money from the hard working people .
Enjoyed the holiday just disappointed they put random people in random seats instead of groups of family's.

Poor show from Jet2 …..
The City Breaks on offer do not represent good value for money….!!!!!
Three day city break, ordinarily would suffice, however when one takes into account the late departure flight , the 3 night break actually is two days, which leaves a lot to be desired, when one is having to try and cram in so much culture into a shorter duration of time…!
Come on Jet2 …. Get the finger out and offer a four night short break, with early departure times and a reasonable selection of cities to visit…
Yet again we’re having a “Staycation”
Jet2 is at a loss “jet again” !!!!!!!

Budget airline with friendly staff. Outward bound flight was a nightmare with up to 14 drunken youths shouting and yelling. Bunch of chavas on there way to giving Britain a bad reputation once again

The flight. 21st Sept I have to say that they did a good a good job of this LS527 from Newcastle to Corfu, and LS528 return, we recieved more than adequate message to prompt you about requirements for flying, check in were spot on and the crew were very efficient, the only observation was that on a approach to landing both ways after they played the reminder about not queuing in the aisle for the toilet, people lined up when there should been no more than 1, other than that I have to say they did a brilliant job, well done. If you wish to read the Hotel review please view the AEOLOS beach resort, they won't get get as many stars.

I had several holidays with jet2
I found that the accommodation was good but we were always allocated the rooms nearest the noise and when asked for help to relocate rooms it was easier to sort it ourselves
CAR HIRE with jet2 AVOID AVOID AVOID . I Lost £127.75p due to the credit card TRICK . This has been well publicised on Rip off Britain . Dont get conned into the advertised cheap price of car hire where you pay your deposit in the UK with only a small payment of €7 when you collect the car . Complete robbery backed by Jet2. Get car hire that you pay with debit card . NEVER NEVER fall for the con trick of leaving your credit card details Jet2 Gold car together in crime
