Japan Experience was an amazing company to use for our honeymoon in Japan. They handled all of the details for us like hotel booking, accompanied airport transfer, Shinkansen tickets, IC card, and much more. We will be using their services again for our next trip to Japan! Andrew from Japan Experience assisted us last year with a standard 15 day self guided tour to Japan. We were so impressed with his service that we approached him again this year. However, this time we wanted a 26 day custom designed tour. He absolutely went out of his way to accommodate our requests and changes to the original proposed tour. After various recommendations and even telephonic discussions, he in the end has 2 very happy travellers. He was soooo patient with us.
I am recommending Japan Experience to all my friends.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 14-day Art and Architecture tour of Japan. Louise, our sales representative, was terrifically helpful in planning and customizing the tour. All of the services provided by Japan Experience were excellent. The itinerary was thoughtful, information was detailed, accommodations and other services were everything we could hope for. On the couple of occasions that we needed assistance, the call service helped us promptly. We loved Japan and are contemplating a return trip. Would certainly look to Japan Experience to plan the next trip too.

If I could give it zero stars I would I ordered my pass a month before I was supposed to pick it up. I get to the location to pick it up to get informed that mine and two other family members passes did not arrive at that point we also had to catch the train to go down to our hotel, but we couldn’t without the passes then they connect me with customer support and they’re telling me to cancel it. They’re gonna have to charge me 50% and I would only get refunded the other 50% the only good part was customer support. The lady was extremely helpful. I was able to talk to her supervisor about lowering that commission fee. However, we did end up having to buy another JR pass at the airport and we were running extremely late to the point where we only had five minutes to board the train as it was the last train to our To our destination.

We just got back from an amazing trip to Japan. Japan Experience took the stress off of planning by arranging hotels, transportation, luggage transfer and experiences. I loved that I was still able to plan our days to either be packed or just relax. We were very pleased with the hotels that were picked.

We did the Japan Family Tour itinerary with Japan Experience in 2025, and the company were brilliant. Everything was meticulously planned, we were provided with loads of detail on our itinerary and plans, and Andrew was brilliant through the whole process, answering any questions we had.
Accommodation, tour guides and travel plans were all great, and planned with our family in mind.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Japan Experience to anyone considering visiting Japan… our experience with them really has been excellent.

I highly recommend Japan Experience for booking train tickets. After lots of research I was still unsure how to tackle trains, should I pre-book, should I reserve seats, should I just get a JR pass. In the end I pre-booked each journey, about 6 in total, some were QR code tickets and some were to be printed at the station. I was slightly worried QR codes wouldn’t work or it would be hard to print tickets in another language, but this absolutely was not the case, it couldn’t have been easier and I’m so thankful I trusted Japan Experience and pre-booked, it saved us so much time on the day and was so easy to know I simply had to turn up at the platform and not worry about anything else. Would absolutely use again!
