Excellent day out, had a lot to see, many interesting stories scattered around of the brave people who flew the aircraft and background of the exact aircraft.

You can see the aircraft that are in use today and that are being refurbished.

Good wc (toilet) facilities.

Good amount of parking and the volunteers (in red) are lovely and talkative and very informative.

It's a day out, us as a couple with no kids took 5 hours 30 to traverse the immense collection.

Food facilities are good but as you'd expect expensive.

Looking this place is also very wheelchair, disabled friendly.

A bonus was seeing some aircraft taking off as part of the activity of being able.to go up is some of them (£19). Videos attached.

Great day out, very interesting and make sure to get yoir walking boots on!.

Had an amazing day walking around all of the exhibits. The different hangars and their themes were really cool, and seeing spitfires flying over the site brought an ambience to the site that very good. If you have mobility issues, there are lots of lifts to viewing balconies to get better views of the big exhibitions, and all of the hangars have slopes into and out of them. I saw a number of people using mobility scooters, and there is a site bus to take you between hangars.

Was lucky enough to see a Spitfire and Hurricane flying on the day of the visit.

Fantastic day out! Excellent parking facilities, wonderfully warm welcome and quick check in. All the volunteers we encountered were helpful and incredibly knowledgeable. Fantastic displays and exhibitions. Everything was clean and very well maintained. We ate in the American cafe which was small with a small offering but the food was fresh and tasty. We had a look in the bigger restaurant and the food looked really very nice. Highly recommend for a family day out!

History brought to life , well worth a visit.
Quite a long walk around all the hangers, there is a shuttle bus running around to hop on and off.
Some of the descriptions on the exhibit cabinets are hard to read, could do with more seating in some of the hangers.
Allow a good 5 hours or more to see it all.

A fantastic visit and superb display of aircraft over the years including the impressive battle of Britain collection and American Air Museum. Great to see the airfield well used with historical planes taking off and landing regularly during our visit. Volunteers were great talking about some of the aircraft and points to note. Highly recommend and will visit again

Brilliant day out at Duxford, there so much to see across multiple hangers. Lots of experts around who all have interesting tales to tell.

It's definitely a full day out, there's plenty of parking and a few options for food or you could bring a picnic.
