We booked the wildlife tour and it was absolutely phenomenal! Our boat driver/tour guide was so knowledgeable about Islay and local history. My fiancée and I both would have loved the tour he gave even if it had just been focused on the history, so with the wildlife and ocean tied in it really couldn’t have been better! We got to see spectacular views of the coast, as well as three distilleries. We saw so many seals, deer, and cormorants that we lost count. I truly can’t recommend this company enough!

A beautiful tour with experienced and friendly guides. Amazing views, even on a cloudy day. We were hoping to spot some seals, in the end we lost count.
We got some great tips from the guides on exploring more of Islay's hidden gems after the tour.
We recommend this tour without any doubt to anyone, and will consider doing it again next time we're on Islay (or one of the other tours).

So good we had to go twice!
As a family of four and the dog we went on a wildlife tour with Bertie and Hanah who were fantastic. Seeing the distillaries from the water is far better than on land too.
We subsequently went on a fishing trip (with 3 and 6 year old) and they both loved it. We caught Pollack, Coalie and Mackerel so went home with plenty for the BBQ - thank you to Leo for his help - we had a great time.

Lots to see from seals to deer and we were well catered for with sweets, whisky and spare binoculars. Although we did not see dolphins on this trip we were treated to excellent views of a pair of sea eagles perched on rocks. The guide was able to tell us a lot about the history of Islay and the wildlife.

We had such a lovely time on our Islay Sea adventure with our very own baby Islay. We
Were very much welcomed including our dog. It was fascinating to hear some of the history of the Island from Harold. Harold and the captain went out of their way to show us the wildlife en route including seals and red dear. A welcomed dram of whisky was offered half way through the tour. It was evident that these guys do the tours for the love of sharing their knowledge and in tracking the wildlife for us to view. Thank you to everyone involved. Highly recommend.

We went on a wildlife tour, 2 adults and a dog. We were part of a group of 6 adults. The trip was fantastic and I can't recommend it highly enough. Harold and Alex the 2 captains were friendly and knowledgeable. We saw seals and their pups, red deer and lots of bird life, however the highlight was a pod of dophins swimming along side the boat. A magical afternoon was completed with a wee dram on the way back to port Ellen. Thanks Islay sea adventures, i and sure we will see you again for another trip!
