Beautiful country park, perfect for walking and cycling. The children’s play area is clean and well-equipped, making it ideal for families. Plenty of parking is available, with gates closing at 5 pm, but there’s additional parking outside.

Highly recommended for a day out!

Wonderful place. Nice large playground, toilet and café. Tables with a bench and for a picnic. Lots of parking spaces.
Nice park.
Also a small railway museum, the museum is completely made by volunteers. We were given a small 20-minute tour. It was very interesting.

A great place to go for walks with the kids who call it The Uppy-Downy Hills. You can add as many loops to your route as you want and the wooden climbing frames dotted around the site, and the dinosaur bones and eggs make nice stopping points with the family.
You can get great snacks and hot drinks to eat at the many picnic tables. An indoor cafe would make this place even better.

Irchester country park is a beautiful little area. It's not the biggest country park but it's well maintained, has plenty of different trails and it has new equipment dotted all over the place for kids. If you want to get out in nature for a bit but also don't want/can't do several miles worth of walking, irchester is definitely a good bet, plus it's beautiful.

So cool! I didn't realise we were in a Jurassic park until we saw the giant foot imprint. Had a great time with the kids learning about fossils and dinosaurs, what's not to love?

Absolutely fantastic place, I am super glad I drove 50 mins from home here in Cambs to explore with my sons. Genuinely would move to this part of the world, just to come here with them!!
