Looking to do something in Inverness other than walking around the city center, this is for you. Alison provides a history lesson of Inverness and Scotland while touring around a bike along the River Ness and the Caledonian Canal with brief stops along the way. You'll be happy you did it.

This is a fantastic way to learn a ton of information about Inverness and their history from someone who has lived there her whole life. Alison did a fantastic job at safely guiding us around the city, mostly on bike paths. It was a good easy pace with plenty of stops where she shared her knowledge. You can’t get a better overview of the city in a more pleasant way. The bikes were in good condition and it was on a very level ride.

Alison is a star. The bike tour was well organized - stopping to see some of the amazing sites Inverness has to offer - and also incredibly informative - we learned so much about all the history of this beautiful city. We’d come back to Inverness just for this bike tour - it was truly a highlight! The canal, nature reserve and botanic gardens were a delight to see and enjoy.

Really enjoyed this tour! I love biking and had a smile on my face the whole time. I was expecting more of an urban tour, but loved the path along the river and back along the canal, much more outside the city until the end. Alison was super helpful and interesting. Highly recommend!

Alison does a very nice job instructing drivers on where we are going and how to ride safely. The tour focused on the natural history of Inverness, the river and canal. A great way to see Inverness.

Wonderful 2 hour history cycle tour. Included bike, helmet, botanical gardens entrance and friendly local and knowledgeable guide- Alison. This is a Must Do if you’re in Inverness for the first, or second time. Hope to see dolphins on the next one.
