They hosted a locals Day so local people could come for a discounted price, how nice!
Wasn't quite sure what to expect.
Easy to find opposite big sheep. Lots of staff to greet us, get the car parked and get to the meeting area. Currently it is for able people, but you could get down paths with a pushchair or wheelchair for spectating.
For the ultimate wipeout wear a swimming costume and old shoes that will get soaked. They provide a wetsuit, helmet and buoyancy aid. So as long as you can kick your legs or use your arms you generally just float in the water.
No lockers but can leave bags of clothes in the changing areas-boys girls men woman.
They do a safety tour first. And then you go around as many times within your slot, generally about an hour.
A lot of time on your knees, wetsuit has padding. I wasn't cold at all. Very slippery. Staff all there to give your tips and inspire you along to have fun!
They had some music on today in the background.
Take your phone for photos and videos. Sometimes they have a professional photographer.
Take some packed lunch. Or they have a tiny shop. We had a pasty and drink.
We then did the high ropes course.
So you want dry clothes and dry shoes preferably although ny sheos were soaked and make it fine.
Wear some comfortable clothes and they give you a harness and helmet. They do all the checks to ensure the kit is applied properly.
There is a low course and a high course to choose.
You get hooked on one at a time and then follow each other around. For adults great although still scary, for children those who have confidence and are adventurous in my opinion.
I made it around but it was hard. Take your time. The staff are all encouraging.
I am glad I did this and will be booking again for a fun day out ?
Spectators also welcome.

Fantastic day out! Jordan was a great instructor on both the high ropes and the assault course - which were great fun for a group of adults with mixed abilities. The whole place was well maintained and clean, and the staff friendly and helpful. Jordan even dived into one of the pools to retrieve a pair of glasses!

Had a great day out. My friend and I did the high ropes course and then the water assault course. The instructors were so friendly and enthusiastic. It was a tiring but very fun day. Would recommend you bring your own wet shoes and wear shorts suitable for sports as my denim shorts weren't the most comfortable! Can't wait to go back when I am next in the area! ?

Brilliant place. The grounds and lawns are well kept. The whole place has high standards. Fantastic place to camp and enjoy the activities (high ropes, total wipe out and more) great shower blocks. Very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Great day out, we did the full day. My 10 year old loved it. High ropes was a good confidence builder and the assault course a great workout!
At the end of the day I found the battery on my car flat, so the lads helped me out getting it started even though they day had finished, that’s above and beyond call of duty! Thanks lads
