The highlight of our 14 day trip to the UK was the two tours we with Iconic Tours. We did a 1/2 day walking tour of Edinburgh and a full day driving tour of the Highlands. Gary was our guide for both and we had a great time with lots of laughs both days. His knowledge of Scottish history is impressive and his ability to quote lines from Monty Python and the Holy Grail kept us laughing. Thanks to Iconic Tours for helping make our trip fantastic!

My wife and I were fortunate enough to spend a day and a half with Will from Iconic Tours. We did the 1/2 day walking tour of Edinburgh the first day and Will's knowledge of history and weaving it into stories about the times was exceptional. He showed us the highlights but also took us to some of the local spots that were so charming and fun. The second day we took a driving tour to Saint Andrews and Will once again did not disappoint. He was the most accommodating host and again explained the history of where we were but also wove it into wonderful stories of the times and all the drama and intrigue it presented. He even showed my wife how to properly try a whiskey and converted her for life. I would recommend this company 100% and understand why they have so many 5 star reviews.

My recent visit to Scotland with my family (myself, my wife, and two kids) included 2 days of touring with Will, owner of Iconic Tours. This experience was worth every penny; this company has 5 star reviews across the board for good reason. Will was very responsive when I first contacted him about arranging a private tour. He asked all about my family and what goals we had for our trip. He listened to all the things we wanted to do and see, made them happen, and had some additional suggestions of his own to make it fun and interesting for our whole family! As we walked out of our hotel for our first day of touring he greeted us with a smile and knew all of our names. Along the way he told us stories about the history of Scotland, interesting facts about Scotland, told jokes, and made the whole experience enjoyable, including many hours spent in the car. When I started asking him about Scotch whiskies he surprised us with a bag of some of his favorites selections and poured us some samples at various stops along the way. He then took me to a distillery where I was able to fill and personalize my own bottle of Highland Scotch! His knowledge of Scotland's history and iconic landmarks was surpassed only by his knowledge of whiskey. This was our first time ever hiring a private tour guide on vacation, and based on this experience I will definitely try to find something similar in other destinations. If I could give Will more than 5 stars I would. SCOTLAND!!!

Got this tour as a birthday present. Will is a very good tutor and learnt a lot about my new camera. Will's knowledge of old Edinburgh was fantastic , it made the afternoon interesting and fun too. He curated for us a quintessential sight-seeing day, filled with incredible locations, scenic views, terrific eats, (a little whiskey) ... all stitched together seamlessly with rich tales of Scottish history and delivered with memorable, comedic style. Cannot say enough about our tour experience. From the informative and helpful email exchange, tour planning, and actual tour experience....everything was excellent. I also cant say enough about how much my family enjoyed our 2 days with Will. He made venturing out in Scotland with my 17 month old and 5 year old a breeze. He was great with the kids, so flexible, enthusiastic and understanding. We look forward to a trip back, and hopefully another adventure with our favorite guide. Thanks for everything.
