Everything was surprisingly good. The position which was quiet and peaceful couldn't hear road noise. The room was very clean and welcoming. Absolutely adequate for a night of bed and breakfast. The buffet breakfast was brilliant. All the staff were very cheerful and helpful. We thought the cost was excellent. The hotel is dog friendly we had no issues having the dogs with us. We requested a ground floor room and that worked out well for our dogs to be taken out. Close to varied food outlets even a Waitrose at the petrol station. Thank you we will stay again.

We stayed as a family in August and had such a lovely time! Tatjana, the housekeeper, was absolutely wonderful — so friendly and helpful. The place was spotless when we arrived, everything was tidy and fresh, and you could tell she really cared. |It’s not every day you meet someone who takes their work so seriously and still does it with such kindness. Tatjana really made our holiday feel special — thank you so much!

My recent stay at ibis hotel was absolutely delightful, thanks in large part to the exceptional service provided by Tatjana. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly polite and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was spotless and made my stay very pleasant. Overall, my experience was great and i would absolutely come here again with my family.

Welcomed by a lovely lad, explained everything perfectly. Room nice and clean but very warm - it was the hottest day of the year so far!! Everything as expected in the room! close to pub for evening meal! Breakfast was great lots of it although I was interrogated as to of it had or hadn't paid! Bed was comfy only one spare pillow and one large towel which if we were staying longer woild have caused problems!! Apart from that it was great!!

Amazing stay at the hotel. Budget friendly. Excellent staff, super clean. Quality of the evening food on the menu was amazing, small compact rooms but very clean and everything you need for a stay over. Would highly recommended. Staff were super friendly and professional - full range of breakfast items that you would expect at a higher quality rated hotel.. Was a like for like match for us.. the rooms were compact but super clean, again everything you need for a stay over. Highly recommend. We will stay here next time.. 🙌❤️

Welcoming, extremely professional, and the rooms are exceptionally clean.|I highly recommend Ibis Budget Derby to anyone looking for convenient, affordable, and comfortable accommodation.|I stayed at the hotel in two stints during July and August in what was a very difficult and emotional time for me personally due to family bereavement.|Evi and her team went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and were very empathetic to my situation.|Although I'd love to name everyone in this review, I want to give a special mention to Evi herself, who was very kind and professional throughout; Claudia, who took my initial booking; Nadia and Varosh, who always greeted me with a smile and kept me fed and watered; and Chris, with whom I enjoyed many a late night chat at the bar.|The cleaning and maintenance staff do a fantastic job in keeping the rooms and hotel in great shape, and the chef on shift from Monday to Thursday prepared some really good, tasty meals, which were far better than the offerings of a certain nearby tired old chain pub.|Next time I'm back in Derby, I'll definitely stay again.|A huge thank you to everyone at the hotel.|See you very soon.|Best wishes to one and all.|Paul (Spain).

Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at! Check in was a breeze, I was welcomed with the utmost hospitality by Tatjana (apologies if I misspelled) who does an outstanding cleaning job. The stay itself was lovely and it was definitely a great weekend for my partner and I.

For reasons I will not go into I was in my room without any trousers and I had left my luggage in my car. I rang reception and spoke to Vinosh and asked him to collect my car keys from my room and fetch my luggage. Vinosh was prompt and resourceful, Opening my car boot is difficult, he could not open it, instead he managed to remove a rear seat backrest and retrieve my luggage. Vinosh was also very helpful in finding Pharmacies which were open on Sunday evenings and on Bank Holiday Monday. I was very grateful and offered Vinosh a tip, which he declined saying it was against company policy
