Liked: Really warm welcome to the site. Could choose to go anywhere as quite quiet but kept fairly close to the showers/loos. Helpful information boards and recycling. Feels like the site is fairly new and things are in progress towards a really nice glamping site, but a few things are not there yet e.g. washing up - wasn't a problem for us, as we have a sink in the van. Really close to the beach and walkable to RSPB Snettisham.

Disliked: No heating in shower or toilet block - but it was February and stormy. No problems otherwise.

Liked: We stayed here for one night in February. Lovely location based right by Heacham South Beach. Able to walk into Hunstanton along the beach which is dog friendly between the months of October and March.
Pitches are a nice size and well kept.

Disliked: The facilities could do with a clean. Showers and toilets were untidy and for the price paid I would have expected them to be cleaned regularly.

Liked: Stayed here recently so we could go to the wells next the sea Xmas tide parade. The site was very good considering it was out of season when we stayed. Nigel met us when we arrived with a warm welcome and showed us around the site and told us about places to go out for food and drink in the area.

The pitch was level enough not perfect but you wouldn't really notice it unless you really paid attention to it.

The facilities were fine and not far to walk to but we did have the site to ourselves for one night and we was on the 1st pitch. But definitely worth the stay.

Perfect location, so close to the south beach its a couple mins walk from camp site. We pitch our tent, during night it poured down with heavy rain, but ground was not water logged, which is a bonus. Site facilities are perfect, clean and working.

Started off with a warm welcome from who seemed to be the owner.

Described as “back to basics” which it is and fully enjoyed however, the facilities were absolutely disgusting. The toilets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in days. No toilet roll in most toilets, showers were dirty and bins overflowing.

We paid £110 for two nights so expected great things. We only stayed one night and lost money on our second night. We decided to stay elsewhere.

Other than the lack of cleanliness, it’s close to the beach and it’s very quiet.

Liked: We were met by Nigel who was friendly and helpful as before. I was stressed as I'd forgotten our hookup cable so he kindly lent me his. Unlike when we last stayed, it was very cold and windy (Storm Darragh) but we were warm in the camper using the heater. This really is a summer site with the facilities geared towards warmer weather, but if anyone wants a nice place to stay in the winter, accepting what comes with it, this is still a great place to stay. We'll be back in March.

Disliked: The facilities are best enjoyed in warmer weather.

Liked: Great location - a really short walk to the Norfolk coast.

Disliked: Sadly the site was the worst we have ever stayed on in 16 years!
It was expensive at £230 for 4 nights so we were expecting reasonably good facilities and site condition. We were sorely disappointed.

The site had no hard standing or firm pitches due to the weather softening the ground, so we were requested to camp on the hardcore path, which we duly excepted, although having submitted our vehicle dimensions this could have been communicated before we arrived. It probably wouldn't have changed our minds, however the state of the showers, and general site maintenance would have.

The site was unkempt, with litter, old camping tables, sun brolly and swing ball just left discarded and buried in the lengthy grass. On our second morning we discovered a dead hare just outside our van. Not a pleasant sight but also not great when you have a small terrier on board. I text the site manager who responded - that he 'had missed that', but it wasn't removed and stayed there for our 4 day stay! Lovely! Especially with the flies!!

But the showers really were the low point. They were so dirty, and I'm not fussy, I showered in my crocks! The walls were mouldy, the floor filthy, like a building site. The structure disheveled and the first one I used the water came out of the shower hose not the head. I didn't even venture into the toilets so can't say what they were like!

It was a real shame - It looked like there had been no attempt to regroup after the summer season. And I get that a site in October isn't going to have the bloom of the summer months, but there really is no excuse for the sate we experienced- and paying full season prices!! Really disappointed and would not recommend or ever visit again.

We had a bit of a bad start due to booking at one location and unfortunately we weren't able to stay there however the owner was very helpful and welcoming. Our shepherds hut was very cute and quaint and I loved it The breakfast was brought to us every morning and there was a lovely spread of yoghurt, toast, jams, cereal and eggs along with fresh milk, apple juice and orange juice. The facilities were basic but clean and tidy we would have loved the trip but unfortunately it wasn't the break we wanted . however if you want to be by the sea then we would happily and highly recommend staying here to our friends and family and we are thankful to the company for resolving the situation with our booking
