Recently visited for xmas get together. Location was excellent with short walk into town and also up into the fells. The barn was emaculate and the huge hot tub was a real highlight. A truly Amazing property and great value for money.

Absolutely beautiful holiday bunk barn. Very clean, well equipped, The industrial dishwashers that take 3 minutes are a game changer when catering for 35!
Loved the hot tub and beautiful countryside and walks. We will return.

We visited as a mixed group of adults, teens and younger children, the youngest being 6. The adults are all University friends and we have an annual reunion.|Howgill’s was one of the best properties we have rented and we have been doing these reunions for 20 years.|The team were helpful and friendly to deal with. The barn was immaculately clean and very well equipped- the commercial dishwashers that take 3 minutes are a game changer when catering for 35!|We loved the hot tub, the scenery and the great walks, also the proximity to Sedburgh. |We hope to return.

This is a brilliant location for a luxury bunk barn...great dining/social hall, kitchens, shower rooms and other facilities perched on the southern Howgills with great views.

Where do I even start on this absolutely fantastic accommodation. Right from the beginning the team during the booking process were extremely helpful! They were flexible on payments, organising early check in times, answered any questions I had and directed me to services and activities available to additionally book. ||When we arrived at the Barn we were swiftly greeted by the owner to complete the induction. Not only did the venue have breathtaking views and fantastic facilities it was immaculately presented. ||Our stay was to celebrate a hen party of 20. Howgills Barn was more than accommodating for that number of people. The cooking facilities, bedrooms, showers, laundry facilities- amazing!!||The hot tub was brilliant, on our second day it was topped up in the morning ready for another dip! While the girls nursed their sore heads- the mums of the group embraced the beautiful local walk into Sedbergh village.||We booked The Occasional Bartender for a cocktail masterclass which was so much fun! The cocktails were delicious, it was great value for money- Simon was professional, friendly and helpful with his ideas on which cocktails to make!. We loved it! ||I also booked The Flatbread Trailer for catering services- we had a 3 course meal which was delicious! Again Marc and the team were professional, friendly and the food was top quality.||We transformed the games room at Howgills Barn into a DISCO room using our own decorations! ||We all wanted to respect the place and rightly maintained tidying and cleaning up! ||Overall, I can’t recommend Howgills Barn, The Occasional Bartender and Flatbread Trailer enough! I haven’t stopped talking to people about our weekend and I will certainly look to book here again for future events and recommend it to all my friends and family.||Thank you all so much and hopefully see you soon!

This place is simply awesome. The rooms with bunks are good. The main room is very warm and cozy. The kitchen has excellent facilities. The hot tub is brilliant. Everything is available nearby for easy access from M6.

I have just returned from another fabulous weekend with friends at Howgills Bunk Barn. The barn was beautifully clean , as always, and very well stocked with towels, bedding, glasses, plates and cutlery galore! The hot tub is always a hit!
It is out of town enough not to have to worry about noise travelling, but close enough to walk into the shops of your forget something. There are many walks just from the door. We managed a walk to Cautley Spout waterfall and back via the Calf this year which was a delight! It remains our favourite place to gather with friends so obviously we are booking again for next year. I cannot recommend it more highly.
