The best way to explore London as a first timer. Super convenient to check the schedule, and the Golden Tours bus came at each stop approx 20 min (no issues). Such a huge city, and so many busses.

If you’re young, take note (you won’t) that you Don’t Need Uber to explore London mate!

Super convenient bus ride through London. There are a couple changes to the stops on the map that aren’t shown so we stood at a stop for a while that was no longer in use. The prerecorded tour audio was cool to listen to. Wish we had more time in London so we could have hopped off more often 🙂

Good idea for touring London. You can opt to purchase a 24hr ticket which allows you to mostly cover all relevant spots in a day. And also included is a river cruise along the Thames. So overall its a good way of getting around the main attractions in London.

Several routes to explore. The bus driver was very helpful with letting us know where to transfer. Covered and non covered, easy to see from seats up top. Nice, air conditioned downstairs if you need to cool down. The sound system was okay, it did sometimes cut off the narration if we were moving through an area a little quickly. Several languages to choose from. I liked the fact that the 24 hour ticket came with a boat tour and walking tour which were good for a week from date of purchase.

The ride is nice and worthwhile especially if you want to both see and be learning about the British history.
The staff are courteous and quite informed about the culture and history even though the interaction is minimal.
The bus itself is clean and you are provided with earphone to learn about every area that you are passing through.
I could only wish that they did actual stops for tourists to take photos like I have seen in other countries. That way you end up with memories of the tour (just something they could consider as many tourists always appreciate more if they have photos in the destinations that they toured 😌

The audio for the tour must have been set up with Geo points based on consistently slow moving traffic. On multiple occasions the audio would interrupt itself with the next stop when the buses were moving in clear traffic; however, most of the time we were merely listening to classical music Without any audio. This is my fourth time in London and my wife’s first, so this was very disappointing for her not getting all the audio of the locations we were passing. I have taken the hop on hop off tours in multiple cities before and it has been the best means of seeing the entire city.

I highly recommend the hop on hop off platform when trying to see multiple landmarks in a new city, but I would not recommend taking this tour after the results we had.

We paying £50 for two people, and being able to access the buses was very convenient.
