I’ve stayed with Nicky and Richard twice, and each time I left a little piece of my heart there. It’s not easy to meet people so skilled, welcoming, and truly attentive to their horses’ well-being.
The animals roam free 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are remarkably calm and balanced—it’s clear how happy and lovingly cared for they are.

Nicky is an exceptional cook: she transforms the freshest, locally sourced ingredients into absolutely delicious dishes. She knows her horses inside and out and always manages to match you with the perfect one.
Richard has competed in horse endurance races all around the world—the bridle from the Mongol Derby still hangs on the wall! — and you could say he literally whispers to horses.

A special shout-out to Pigmund Freud and Christopher Piggins: the cutest and cuddliest pigs you'll ever meet!

It was a lovely experience !! I couldn’t stop smiling. Nicky and Richard were very welcoming. Nicky did say it was going to be intensive and I’m very grateful for this opportunity, I have gained a lot from this session and the food was absolutely delicious!!
