This is truly a lovely site with immaculate facilities. Sarah and Richard are lovely and very welcoming. Great site for our wildlife and bird watching we thought and to chill out and relax. |Unfortunately this was not to be as there was a large group of small camper vans and some people in tents in a large gathering behind us that totally destroyed our weekend hence 4 stars instead of 5. They were very noisy drinking and shouting over the drum and bass music they played loudly day and night totally no consideration for anyone else around them. It got so bad on the Sunday night we actually drove the 30 minutes home as we couldn’t take it anymore returning late at night. They allowed their dogs to roam around other pitches off lead against site rules fouling and peeing as they went. This after being warned more than once by Sarah. |Having said that we would visit this site again just not over a bank holiday. A real shame as it would have been so nice if not for these awful people apparently there had been complaints about them by other campers some of whom had children.|To be fair other people told us it is usually a quiet site and this was unusual.

Superb site with the owner Sarah being super kind and helpful.
Get a fully serviced pitch for the best views (£28pn).All is very well maintained, facilities good and nice easy walks around the lakes with the Dogs.
Lots of Geese, Ducks, Moorhens and Hares plus, it sounds daft, super friendly fish who come in on mass to the waters edge, looking for food. Ideal for fishing, many come just for same.
Do note though there are no walks or shops nearby, only around the ponds, you need a car or best come prepared, lovely to relax though.

I stayed here for one night as I travelled from London to Peterborough to watch my Grandson perform at the festival nearby. Didnt fancy another two hours journey back.
Met up with Sarah who owns the land felt very welcomed very friendly service.
What was even more interesting is the Boys Shop two ambitious boys setting up their shop and selling useful items for every day use.
The grounds are well kept, toilets and showers spotlessly clean.
Had a lovely night surrounded by nature plus welcomed by a group of people who occasionally meet up on a rally.
I highly this place, very pleasant stay.

What a lovely site. Nothing in walking distance but a smashing very well equipped, maintained, efficiently run site. So peaceful. We will be looking for reasons to come here again as it is a bit off our normal tracks.

Fantastic campsite. Great facilities including toilets, showers with plenty of hot water and sinks for washing dishes, all in great condition and spotless. Grass area is extensive with well spaced out pitches. The owners are also really nice. All this for £16 per night without electricity (£21 with). Can not recommend highly enough. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.

We received a warm welcome to a lovely location by the lake, and the facilities were good too. Quite secluded, so be prepared to drive a fair distance if you need a pint of milk.

Beautiful site that is very obviously cared for and proudly looked after. The pitches are lovely, hard standing or grass and a good size too. The facilities are kept beautifully clean and tidy. Around and about the fens and the towns and villages are lovely. We found a few lovely farm shops with beautiful local produce. The shop in Baston is very good also.|Just a shame that some weekend visitors seem to like to throw tissue on the floor in the toilets, and that some don’t keep dogs on leads and I quote ‘ because my dog is well behaved so no bother.’|Anyway they are the ‘bad citizens’, but the site is really lovely as are the owners.
