Perfect place for a large family holiday. There were 10 of us including one wheelchair user and 4 children. All our accessibility questions were answered fully before arrival and the needs of disabled individuals had clearly been well thought out. We loved the huge pool and the kids spent hours in there, not caring about the weather outside! The garden was good for playing in when the rain held off, and the patio got the sun for our early morning coffee. The living areas were very sociable, making it comfortable to all sit and eat or chat together as a big group, and the kitchen was lovely to cook in. The house as a whole felt high quality and a bit special, yet homely and relaxing. It is in a great location, close to Scarborough and within driving distance of loads of places to visit. We had a lovely morning at Grosmont watching the steam trains ( the disabled access was good there too). Having an electric car charging point was handy and made our stay much easier.
We only stayed for 3 nights but would definitely come back for longer next time

An amazing place to escape to the village location is beautiful and then tucked away is the wonderful surprise that is Home Farm Scarborough. This is somewhere special, particularly for me as I am a wheelchair user and there are few places like this available to me. The ground floor has been thoughtfully and subtlety adapted such as wide doorways and flush/ramped thresholds. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The ground floor suite has the biggest double bed guaranteed to give a good night’s sleep.
The adapted bathroom has everything you will need, being spacious with plenty of grab rails and a shower seat.
We had the most amazing weekend and now we have found this place we definitely want to return

Tired place sadly. We stopped over Christmas for a few days and based on the price we had hoped for better. The pool is nice but let down by the standard of the fit and finish of the overall property. For a house that sleeps up to 12 the lounge and kitchen were not up to it. I don’t feel it was good value and the premium for the pool was not worth it.

Update in response to owners reply. I stopped from the 30th December to the 1st January. I had not planned to go into loads of detail such as the fact that you did not provide hand soap or hand towels in the toilets or the fact that the doors were so warped in the place most would not shut, no cleaning products, hardy any toilet rolls, no logs to have a fire (most places give you enough for at least one fire), every wall was littered with holes or marks, toilet door in the pool room would not shut, not even a pint of milk left in the fridge. If you do indeed take feedback on then you wouldn’t choose to try and rubbish my review. Maybe try a little harder to justify the price or rent it out for less.
