This is a lovely b and b. Me and my son Mark stayed there on Wednesday 7th March 2018 as it is only minutes from police college where Mark was doing assessment.
Mick who owned the b and b before passing it down to his daughter is great crack and his mate Ritchie is a lovely bloke. Both were real helpful.
The rooms are spacious with large en-suites. Beds are comfy and place Is spotlessly clean. Continental breakfast was nice too and you can eat as much as you want.
Met Micks daughter Lisa before we left really nice lady.
Me and the lads may be going down to have a good drink with mick and Ritchie our type of lads.

We went down for a one night stay as hubby had business early the next morning. The landlady was wonderful! She did so much to help us and went out of her way to make us comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was lovely.

We have just returned from a stay with Jayne and Ted at Home Farm - as ever we received the warmest of welcomes, we had the same room as last time and it was very comfortable. We slept very well, Jayne's breakfasts are superb and to be honest if you go for the full english you really do not need any lunch! Of an evening although Jayne doesn't 'do' an evening meal if you prefer not to go out, she has take away menus and is quite happy to open up what was the bar room, so you may eat in total comfort. She is a mine of information, the leaflets of what's on offer in the area are always up to date and readily available. We stay there for 2 specific reasons, it is near the venue where we are appearing at a historical market and we receiver the very best of service, a warm welcome, and comfort, it's like being at home but with no washing up!

Although we had booked separately my friend and I arrived together. We were greeted at the door by a very straight faced lady who proceeded to complain that one of us had said we'd arrive at 7 pm and the other would arrive at 9 pm (we actually arrived at 8 pm). After stating that she wasn't prepared to cook breakfast for us the following morning before 7.30 am (we had to leave early for a seminar) she then charged us full B & B price...a reduction of £5 would have been thoughtful and appreciated. The rooms were spotless, although a little dated and the television was positively out of the ark. No one mentioned that there was a bar in the hotel. We would not be inclined to stay there again unless the hostess had taken lessons at a charm school...a smile would have been greatly appreciated and might have made us feel welcome.

We have just come home from a two night stay at Home Farm B & B. We were given a nice large room with a very large comfortable bed. The bathroom was large with a good shower. Everything was lovely and clean, fresh milk supplied for tea and coffee rather than UHT milk which is awful. Breakfast was excellent, good choice of cereal, plus full cooked. Thank you Jane for a nice stay and helpful information.

Stayed here as I was tracing my parents history who met in an aircraft factory during the war in Ryton On Dunsmore.||The landlady was running the place on her own as her husband died some time earlier. Nice large room with large bathroom. However, the furniture left over from another era. Probably back in the 50s/60s? Although the bathroom was nicely tiled. No bath, spacious shower. Tea making facilities as the norn. ||Chilly evening, so some heat would have been welcome. Central heating turned off. As already mentioned in another review, telly out of the ark. Had freeview, but no matter how tried, stuck on one channel that was not tuned in? Two remotes, one for the freeview, other for the telly. Spent ages trying various permutations to get a picture, but no luck. However, the wifi was good. So used my laptop instead. Only staying one night, so didn't pursue the telly problem. ||Tread lightly. Creaky floorboards.||Breakfast very good. Much better than some hotels stayed in. As for the "not a very friendly greeting", somewhat agree. First question asked soon as arrived was "what will you be doing tomorrow"? Became more friendly when I showed an interest in her photos of family from the past posted all over the entrance/reception area.||Home Farm B&B on a quiet location away from the road.||If in the area again would stay there. Seems unlikely as a local historian I had arranged to meet, showed me what I was looking for.

This is like staying with family. A genuine home welcome. Quiet bar to chew the cud with other residents, locals, and the definitive charming landlord Mick. If you're lucky you'll get to meet his delightful daughter Lisa. Between the two of them they've made Home Farm a little gem.||||And the clincher? When the NEC is busy, the local hotel chains - Holiday Inn, Premier Inn, etc. - around Coventry charge £200+ a night for their "characterless cell" offerings. Check out the prices in home farm for a comparison. A bit of a no brainer really.||||This is my first ever stay in a B&B on work related business (or pleasure, for that matter). As a contractor travelling the country it's my bottom line. It's dawning on me I should have looked into this a while ago.||||Loz D

Lovely Bed and Breakfast, very helpful owner. I am staying here for ease of access to the Airport and this couldn't be better placed. Quiet rooms with clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. I look forward to staying again!
