I dont know what the going rate for a pedalo is to hire but £19 for 45 minutes seems alright on a nice sunny day and give the kids exercise. Staff very friendly and all round pleasant. Had a good 30 minutes before boredom kicked in

This year, we decided to break away from the usual kids' party and have a kayaking party at the lake. We were not disappointed! It was affordable, and everything was included equipped, wetsuits, and instructors. The staff were friendly, and most of all, every single child enjoyed it. Plus, the kids were learning so many skills without even realising it. I would highly recommend it!

We did a last minute booking for paddle boarding and had the most blissful time out on the water. A few minor delays while the previous users came in but more than worth the wait. Staff were incredibly busy but highly supportive and how they kept smiling despite all the demands on them was astonishing! The kit was well maintained and the chance to spend tranquil time on the water for some mum and daughter time was worth its weight in gold

Thursday afternoon walk around Hollingworth Lake,after a couple of glorious sunny days, this was like autumn,sunny but breezy.
We parked in the large carpark just across from the Wine Press,£2 for 4hrs,cash or card.
Heading up the path,this brought us out at the lakeside.
We walked clockwise around, nice & quiet,few walkers & runners out.
Getting round in goog time,i fancied a bit of lunch,what better than fish & chips..
We ate on the front,just before the drizzle came,then back to the car.
It's a nice place to visit,just go in the week,avoiding weekends & school holidays as everyone has the same idea..
