Stayed on site afew times and use the Victoria as a place to meet family for lunch/dinner. It’s an amazing place. The deer calmly roam the site whilst the building itself is in incredible condition. It’s well worth a walk around the inside as the guides are fantastic and really give an insight into its history. The playground is also amazing and really well laid out. Great place and an awesome day out for the family.

The grounds are wonderful. After parking £6. You can access the play area free and high ropes for adventure minded. Cafe is excellent. We hired bikes and would have liked at better run through for 8 yo and 11 yo. Too many gears for occasional riders.

Stayed onside on a pop up campsite. Visited the grounds the first evening and the house and walled garden on the second day. The walled garden was one of the best I've ever seen. The house was interesting showing a view through history

Good experience. Good for wheelchair access. Parking man let us park in the 'handicap area' even though we didn't have a badge. Food and gifts pricey. Enjoy the tractor ride (£6.50). Good historical commentary throughout.

We had a day here for the holkham food and drink festival in the walled Gardens.
A beautiful 😍 place with lots of plants fruit trees flowers and a small vineyard.
The whole estate is just breathtaking. We will be back again to spend the day walking around or cycling here.

We enjoyed our family holiday in Holkham, the cottage was very comfortable and conveniently positioned next door to a non-rowdy public house, the Hero. We ate at the Hero and it was a pleasant experience, the food was good, the seating comfortable. Once in the house the Pub's customers couldn't be heard. We had a very pleasant week's holiday. The beaches are amazing, large expanses of nice soft sand, fringed with conifer woods and the occasional deciduous tree, when the tide goes out there is a massive area of golden sand but also a fair bit of mud, so keep your eyes on your kids.

A beautiful stately home in lovely grounds, that are good for exploring on foot and by bike. The various events put on by the estate are always well attended and well organised, parking is in the grass grounds of the estate, that are never to far away. Holkham beach is a short walk from the estate so a full day can be had in the area.

Amazing day out. The staff couldn’t do enough for us as soon as we got you, so helpful and knowledgeable.
Shout out to the lady we met on arrival and the gentleman inn the gift shop, but honestly all the staff were outstanding.
The Hall itself was full of history and well worth tour.
We walked around the walled garden and they were something special,.the only thing there was a Gone Wold festival on which attracted thousand of people so was very confusing as the gardens weren’t sign posted that well and lots of people camp in near the entrance.
The walled garden is not next to hall so if you are elderly or not in physical shape then it’s a bit of a trek to het to them .
