Just enjoyed a two night stay at Holiday Inn, Aylesbury. Very friendly staff, lovely welcome. The hotel itself is very airy, extremely clean, well decorated. Our room was very spacious, the huge bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space. The room included an ironing board and iron. The hospitality was very minimal - two tea bags, two regular and two decaf coffees and two milks. (Reception are more than happy to issue extra). We ate in the restaurant one evening, the food was plentiful and delicious as was the cooked breakfast (other breakfast options are available).||NEGATIVES||No lift up to the 1st Floor||Bar drink prices exorbitant: ÂŁ16 for a 250ml, ÂŁ12.50 for a 125ml glass of wine. ÂŁ43 for a bottle of white wine. A pint of Stella Artois was around ÂŁ6, which is normal hotel price.||Car parking charge of ÂŁ5 for 24 hours.||Considering the postives which far outweigh the negatives, i would have no hesitation at staying at this lovely hotel

Stayed here for a night while driving from Manchester to London and it was a nice, comfortable stopover. Had one of the king rooms which was big and clean, minibar was stocked, TV didn’t really work but it was fine for just a night. Didn’t try the breakfast so can’t say much there. Overall, a decent place for a quick stay.

Only thing we found a bit odd was having to pay for parking when you’re already a guest, especially since it’s right off the highway and obviously most people are driving in. Also, the room was on the first floor and quite a walk from reception with no lift, which wasn’t a big deal but worth mentioning. Other than that, would stay again if I’m in the area.

Great location for Aylesbury, servicing of the rooms leaves a lot to be desired but they’re comfortable and clean for the most part.
No lifts to the first floor so ask for ground floor if you have mobility issues. Restaurant team are attentive and professional.
Limited choice on the menu but reasonable in price.
Also started charging for parking on top of the over priced stay. Alternative hotels offer better value in the area.

Came here on a coach trip. The reception area is welcoming and we enjoyed some autumn sunshine and a glass of wine in the outdoor courtyard. The stairs and corridor to our room were tired, with scuffed walls and a carpet that needs a good clean. Our first floor room (207) was spacious and clean, but as there is no porterage, I would recommend requesting a ground floor room for anyone with mobility issues. As we were on a trip we were not given the same menu choices as other guests, and as a vegetarian, the vegetable curry was a bit on the watery side, plus, there wasn't a dessert option except for Victoria sponge or lemon drizzle cake, which felt a bit odd. A standard bottle of chardonnay cost ÂŁ34 which is a bit steep as I only paid ÂŁ1 more in the heart of London. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. I think if we had stayed as independent travellers and enjoyed a meal from the main menu, we would have probably rated our visit higher.

I had the pleasure of being served by Anthony during my recent visit to the restaurant, and I can confidently say he made the entire dining experience exceptional. From the moment we were seated, Anthony was warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive without ever being overbearing.

He knew the menu inside and out, offered great recommendations, and made sure our drinks and meals were served promptly. What stood out most was his genuine friendliness and professionalism he checked in at just the right times and made sure we had everything we needed.

Anthony’s positive attitude and attention to detail turned a simple meal into a truly enjoyable evening.

Aylesbury’s hidden gem: comfort, style, and a great pump!
Honestly the nicest Holiday Inn I’ve ever seen, let alone stayed in. The location is super convenient, and the facilities blew me away — a stylish bar, spa, sauna, jacuzzi, and even a gym. Sure, the gym is a standard hotel setup, but if you’re creative you can still get a great workout and a good pump (I know I did!).

The room was fantastic — I’m not sure what size the bed was, but there was enough room for four of me (and I’m not a small guy) and it was extremely comfortable. Slept like a rock.

The breakfast was really good and excellent value for money, plus having the option of room service made it feel like a treat. The staff were friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy, which made the stay even better.
If I’m ever back in this part of the world, this Holiday Inn will 100% be where I stay.

Kenny and Anthony from the Restaurant are just amazing and can’t find better words to leave for them. They are very professional, helpful, cheerful, smiling and reflecting a high standard for Holiday Inn.
No doubt they deserve to be praised for their great hospitality.

My little one, loved Anthony personalized service and his beautiful approach when he handed her the drawing set for her favorite fairy. She then sent him special thanking with beautiful draw.

Lovely place, highly recommend

Thanks

Very nice holiday inn. Rooms were pretty much perfect just short of a fridge, but that’s not gonna ruin my day, air con system modern and very effective, shower worked fine, beds were comfy enough and the room decor was vibrant and overall very nice. Facilities were also good, swimming pool does the job and was pretty empty which was perfect, restaurant courtyard is also very nice and open with nice seating. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The only slight frustration was the food served for lunch and dinner in the restaurant. We ordered two pizzas, a steak pie, club sandwich and a mixed grill- no drinks and it came to over £100. You don’t mind paying for the convenience of the restaurant and if the food was good but it wasn’t particularly great. No real concerns like undercooked food or anything it just wasn’t worth the money: the pizzas were okay, the mixed grill was okay but I would avoid the pie- the pie itself was okay but the mash was pretty bland, the veg I think tasted microwaved and the gravy was pretty bland bisto - definitely not worth the £18 price tag. Overall the hotel was lovely and facilitating, the staff were great and the rooms were very nice for a holiday inn or for any hotel really but I would recommend avoiding the restaurant it’s just very overpriced - if possible go somewhere local if not just get a takeaway and bring it back (if you’d rather the convenience of the in house restaurant it will be very expensive and not the best quality, but it does the job) apart from that, the breakfast was nice (very good continental selection plus the full English was solid )
