This park has a lot to offer. A spacious children play area, picnic area, several trails, art installations and a cafe. It’s a nice place to relax and let your little monsters run wild. There is ample parking and it’s free!

Great park, so much for the kids to do. Really good cafe and toilets very close to the park as well which was helpful. The walking routes are all accessible and not very long. There is the opportunity to explore a bit more when walking by going off the main route which the kids really enjoyed. Den building and great places to do some mountain biking too.

Great place for a walk through the woodlands and play at the park. Some interesting sculptures to find along the trails. The Sentinels are really interesting and the trail markers have a different carving at each point.
Large park with climbing structures, slides and a zip line.
The cafe is a nice addition (it's been a few years since our last visit) with indoor and outdoor seating.
Plenty of parking available and it's free.
Great afternoon out with the family.

A nice natural area. I enjoyed going, but I took my 17m old grandchild and it isn't really designed to accommodate very young toddlers. For one thing the paths are sand, and pushchairs just sink. The play areas are also designed for young children, not toddlers.
The main restaurant was OK, but the staff were starting to clear up at 3:45pm, which included sweeping the matt carpet flooring. This was awful as the dust and dirt became airborne. I asked the member of staff if they had an upright vacuum cleaner, which would do the job in half the time and wouldn't send dust everywhere. They replied, they only had a decrepit Henry (no beater bar). Poor H&S in my view.
I won't be rushing back, but it was a pleasant outside area, with numerous informative stalls to stop at. Worth a visit.

Lovely area to walk around - feels very wild! Best to stay on the main paths unless you have wellies as lots of pools and boggy areas in the trees.Toilets and cafe near the carpark, and a great childrens play area too

Great new stomping ground. Good Change of scenery, reasonably local to Portsmouth. Sculptures were cool but weird. Also history vibes Great Park for kids. Will get really popular, watch out for the car park though one in one out!
