Had a great experience with a school group at the Ranger's Education Centre. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🌿

Staff kept up appearances with costumes and role play as well as activities that helped pupils to become immersed in the Iron Age.

Everyone had fun and spoke highly of it once back at school, thank you.

Myself and a group of fellow walkers had the unfortunate experience of meeting a very unpleasant male Park Ranger this afternoon, whilst climbing Arthur’s Seat. We engaged him in a sensible conversation about some of the hill reinstatement which is ongoing in the park and we found this individual to be rude, unpleasant and aggressive for no reason at all. Rangers need to be aware that they are a public service and as such should know how to deal with members of the public in a civil and understanding manner. This individual was all that a Ranger shouldn’t be. He was male, quite short in stature and very short on temperament. Extremely disappointing.

Absolutely brilliant yesterday dealing with our sister who had fallen and broken her ankle on Arthur’s Seat. Cannot thank them enough.

Told I am not allowed to fly a drone in "their airspace". The airspace is owned by The CCA. You are legally allowed to fly in their property just not to take off or land on their property, the airspace is not theirs. That particular Ranger was a joke and a jobsworth.
