Great action packed fun day out on the River Severn. Started from Montford Bridge and paddled down to Shrewsbury Quarry Park.
It can be hard (but enjoyable) work but well worth the effort, especially if you're a wildlife lover as it's open countryside all the way and we regularly watched Kingfishers at work.
A fantastic day out that saw the teenagers in bed by 10 PM, now that is a school holidays result!

Booked a 1/2day slot. Picked up from Frankwell carpark and taken a short drive to montford Bridge. Full safety brief and off we went!! Double canoe , weather was lovely , got busy when we arrived in shrewsbury, but we were experts by then 😀!! 3.5 hours, but we didn't stop anywhere. Loved it!!

Great family fun. We hired 3 canoes for 7 people for two hours, We were quickly fitted out and briefed (they have waterproof dtorage bags for phones etc.) and soon into the water. Progress upstream was a little slow due to headwind and back correspondingly a little too quick. But we saw Kingfishers, Herons, a buzzard and had swallows swooping past within inches. It was really relaxing. With our ages ranging from 12 to 71 it was fun for all.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip from Montford Bridge to the Quarry in Shrewsbury yesterday. We are relatively inexperienced at canoeing and had our canoes rafted together which helped with stability, takes about 4 hours to complete the 12 mile trip, and the instructors were brilliant and gave very useful information. Would highly recommend for those wanting to enjoy a longer canoeing experience

Amazing evening with paddle & pizza 🍕
Super dog friendly too and we had the best time. The lady who drove us and did the safety briefing was so lovely,infact all the staff we met were great.
Can't wait to return and try and it again, brilliant bank holiday fun and the pizzas were amazing!

Great day out with you yesterday, thamk you. Trip from Montford bridge was pretty special. Managed to see a kingfisher and much other wildlife you'd rarely get to see any other way. Definitely recommend and for the day, good value for money.
