From start to finish these guys have been brilliant.
I was looking to book the West Highland Way for my husbands 40th birthday and had looked on official website for recommended routes/days to cover and took this to Ryan at Highland Transfers. I can’t get over how easy it made everything for me booking and for us on our wee adventure.
I had no idea how busy the season could be, but it felt hassle free and straightforward with their help.
Ryan booked us our accommodation, bag transfers and kept in touch with bookings to then give us our full itinerary breakdown for the 5 days and what to expect from each section of the way. I can’t recommend the company enough and have been telling everybody about them.
The small details like keeping in touch via email halfway through just to make sure we were doing okay didn’t go unnoticed and I will absolutely be booking through them again.
We already have ideas in mind!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience hiking the West Highland Way! From the initial planning through to the accommodations each night, all of the arrangements were smooth and hassle free, which enabled us to fully enjoy each day’s hike. Ryan (our main contact person) was helpful and friendly, and even checked in with us as the hike went along. We recently completed the NC500 using the services of Highland Transfers and all I can say is wow! The routes Ryan planned were absolutely stunning, not to mention his hard work in sorting great accommodation and getting all the bags to where they needed to be and even finding time to ride the end of each day with us. We had the added bonus of having one of their guides ride with us for the 5 days, Mick was knowledgeable and great company and boy can he ride a bike!!

If you are looking at riding the NC500 or any other Scottish route, stop looking now as Highland transfers are the people to use!

We recently completed the West Highland Way and had the most amazing time. In the run up to the adventure, Ryan was extremely supportive and patient in dealing with all our questions. Once we arrived in Milngavie, the luggage transfer Ryan provided went absolutely smoothly and every evening after finishing a day's walk, we were stunned by the lovely accommodation Ryan had arranged for us. It was a lovely little mix of high class accommodations and we even got a free upgrade after completing the walk in Fort William. We cannot recommend Highland Transfers enough and would definitely use Ryan's services again.

Just finished the NC500 with my friend! We got accompanied by Ryan and his dad Neil, who provided a brilliant service all along the way.

We got picked up in Edinburgh, Neil took over in Inverness and then met us 1-3 times per day, to make sure we were ok and filled up the water bottles and supplied bananas 🙂

Neil also carried the bags in his van, which became very handy one day when I felt sick and only did half a day of cycling. He took me to the pharmacy and our next hotel stop for the evening - great service to be honest and gives you a piece of mind if you got a support van with you!

Finally, we managed to cycle most routes quickly because we travelled lightly.

In the end, on day 5, we even made it up Ben Hope, a 1000m high hill, which was lovely and also allowed us to cycle more inland’s on little roads.

In the end, we can highly recommend highland transfers and would definitely come back for another ride along the NC500.

If you would like to ride the North Coast 500 but unsure how to go about it, then talk to Ryan at Highland Transfers. Ryan will support you from the initial discussions to waving you goodbye at the end. From discussions around customising the route, to accommodation, to coffee stops, lunch stops and on road support, Ryan's local knowledge is second to none. We were a group of twelve and Ryan managed to support each of us over the six days. He has an incredible 'can do' problem solving attitude and such a relaxed manner that everyone was at ease and confident from the moment we met. In the knowledge that all of your day to day needs are met the only thing for you to do is pedal and enjoy the amazing vistas that seem to appear around every bend and crest of every hill, of which there are many, so make sure you've done the training. Highland Transfers offers much more of a service than delivering your bags to your accommodation and so without question, should there be another group ride in Scotland, then Highland Transfers will be our go to travel partner. Don't take my word for it...give Ryan a call.

Fantastic service from Ryan, really communicative and helpful in the lead-up to the event which put us at ease. While we were cycling the NC500, Ryan was always on hand if we needed him, full of fantastic knowledge of the route (which is not the "traditional" NC500, but a much improved one for cycling). Accommodation was spot on and baggage transfer was brilliant, he's also a top guy to have a laugh with at the end of the day.

I wouldn't hesitate to use Highland Transfers again, it was a pleasure and there is simply no way we would have had such a good time if it wasn't for these guys.

In Highland Transfers we found the ideal partner for doing the Badger Divide in the Scottish Highlands. Ryan booked us an amazing set of Hotels and B&B's close to the tour.
Personal contact with Ryan was great. He is a friendly and service orientated guy. He helped us out when we were having technical issues with our gear.
