So much wild beauty to witness in Inverness. How to know what to see and where to go? Thank Goodness, there's Kieron of HIGHLAND QUEST TOURS.

I booked two private solo tours with him, one day to Isle of Skye and one day to Speyside. There's no better way to go than being driven by a local expert. Two full days of spectacular landscape, whiskey tasting, and all the castles you can eat.

Pro-tip: I booked my hotel stay at Kieron and Jo's STRATHALLAN B&B. It's cozy and central to the Inverness Train Station and High Street shopping district. Our tour departures began after a delicious cooked breakfast and our action packed days ended with a recap and a nightcap.

Such an excellent experience, I can't wait to go back for more.

Today's tour took us to the waterfalls on the river Foyers, on to Spean Bridge, a small village in the Scottish Highlands where the Commando Memorial is located.
Afterwards we went to
Fort William, from there by train over the viaduct known from Harry Potter to the enchanting
Glennfinnan. We found the shipwreck of Corpach, one of Fort William's best kept secrets. An old fishing boat washed up on the shore where Loch Linnhe meets Loch Eil.
Our last stop was Glencoe, where you will find many ancient waterfalls carved into the hard Highland rocks by years of erosion and the sweet Scottish drizzle

Keiron offers 2 different Isle of Skye day tours. I can't remember which one we signed up for because Keiron let us decide and make changes on the fly. He took us to some of his favorite viewing spots, the Five Sisters, Invergarry Dam (I think), the Glenelg Ferry, a great lunch in Uig, the Fairy Glen, Dunvegan Castle, and Eilean Donan Castle. It was a lovely day. We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery without having to worry about the drive. Keiron is relaxed, easy to talk to, and enjoys what he does.

I went on a private tour with Kieron and we'd planned to visit the Glenfinnan Viaduct. The Scottish weather ended up wrecking those plans, but we had wonderful trip along the shores of Loch Ness instead. Kieron is a great guide and a lovely person, so I 100% recommend booking a Highland Quest tour if you're in Inverness!
