Well you can believe the great reviews here, I’m glad we did! We opted for the Lochness half day tour for our group of 5 and we had the best time touring with our guide Johnny! So many beautiful sights and perfectly paced you just can’t beat a small group tour with a local. We really aren’t normally big on tours but this was definitely a highlight of our recent visit to the Highlands. Thank you to the other reviews and of course thank you Tony & Johnny! 💙🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿💙

This was such an incredible experience! I am not a tour-taking person typically, but I’m glad we arranged this trip to have a safe (and super fun) way to experience the Speyside whisky distillers.

Tony (the owner) was very responsive in helping us plan the experience ahead of time, and suggested times to schedule the tour of Glenfarclas and the cooperage. I wouldn’t have thought to visit either, but they both absolutely made our experience.

On the day of our tour, Tony’s dad Johnny was an excellent tour guide. He was so knowledgeable, a safe driver, and brought us to some incredible destinations. He brought us to see the Carrbridge Packhouse Bridge (built in 1717) and highland cows before our first stop at Glenfarclas, where we had an incredible tour of the facilities followed by the tasting. Then we were off to GlenAllachie, Speyside Cooperage, Balvenie and Glenfiddich. The best end cap was that we stopped by the sea for a few final tastes of whisky, a bit of gin and some tasty Scottish snacks. He thought to take pictures of us throughout the tour, which he sent to us almost immediately after our tour ended. Such a friendly person, and I will definitely be calling up Tony and Johnny the next time we’re in the area, and recommending them to everyone I know.

Two great days touring the Highlands with Tony! I spent a lot of time researching and selecting a private tour company and am so happy we decided on Highland Tours. Tony was easy to communicate with and allowed us to customize our tour to our interests. He went out of his way to show us beautiful sites off the beaten path. The Top of the Highlands Tour was spectacular!!
Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time on our Inverness tour. Tony was confident in his knowledge and added humor to the day as well. Took us to a cool little spot to taste GIn made from Loch Ness water. Found is the best spot to see Castle ulqurat and photograph without wasting our time and money. Looking back on the trip, we packed a ton of adventure into that day. I would highly recommend!

We had the most amazing trip from start to finish because of Tony and Johnny. We went places most tours would never take you. They really personalized the tour to give us a real taste of Scotland. They have a passion to showcase the history and If you want to see real Scotland we really recommend Highland Guided Tours.
Thanks for the memories.

Tony and John Munro were so kind to our large group. They also took us on last minute, and they were able to use their connections to get us into tours and tastings on Sunday. Their vehicles were so comfortable and their advice was sage. They were so kind to share some treats from their family business at the end. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing trip with Tony on our tour around the Inverness area. He picked us up right on time at our cruise ship and despite rainy weather, he got us to all the great sites including Cawdor Castle, Clava Cairns, Loch Ness, Highland Coos and more. We were easily able to shift plans due to the rain, and he gave us great commentary along the way. It’s such a beautiful area, and he showed us even more than we thought we would be able to see. We’re already planning a trip back to Scotland! Thank you, Tony, for an amazing day!!!

My husband and I were visiting Inverness and booked a tour of local highland places around Inverness. The tour included Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, Cawdor Castle, and Great Glen Distillery. Tony Munro was our tour guide and we cannot recommend him enough! The tour was only 2 other people (a welcomed change of pace from the full day packed bus tour to Isle of Skye the previous day). The van was very comfortable. Tony was so knowledgeable and personable as our tour guide and was able to bring in the local perspective, including local spots that we would’ve missed otherwise! He made sure that everyone was having a great time, took some photos for us (another welcomed change to our selfie game), and answered all our questions. Instead of touring Urquhart Castle, Tony recommended touring Cawdor Castle and we are so glad we made that change. It was well worth the trip. He brought us also to a local farm the Robertsons Farm where we got to meet black and furry, 600 kilo Jamie Mackenzie Fraser… the Highland Coo of course. If you are traveling to Inverness and are looking for an unforgettable tour with an experienced local tour guide, you definitely need to book with Tony Munro!
